PETALING JAYA: ShekhinahPR is marking its 15th anniversary with a RM15,000 sponsorship of the ShekhinahPR Junior Invitational Mixed Doubles, a junior competition held in conjunction with the CIMB KL Open Tennis Championship 2026.
ShekhinahPR CEO Christopher Raj said the sponsorship represents another step in the agency’s long-term commitment to giving back to Malaysian sport.
“Reaching our 15th anniversary is an important milestone for ShekhinahPR, but more importantly, it is an opportunity to reflect on the role we have played in supporting the growth of sports in Malaysia.
“We believe investing in young athletes is an investment in the nation’s future. Platforms like this are essential for providing competitive exposure, building confidence and nurturing the mindset needed to succeed at the highest level.
“At ShekhinahPR, we are proud to play a role in that journey,” he said in a statement today.
ShekhinahPR said the sponsorship reflects its continued commitment to supporting grassroots sports development and creating greater opportunities for young athletes to compete and develop through organised sporting platforms.
Since its establishment in 2011, the sports public relations and branding agency has supported Rawang BC’s junior badminton development programme, partnered with SK Lemoi in Cameron Highlands to promote sports among Orang Asli students, and sponsored sports equipment for 40 schools across Penang.
The CIMB KL Open Tennis Championship 2026, to be held from July 28 to Aug 2 at the National Tennis Centre in Kuala Lumpur, is expected to feature leading local and regional players.
