Band Protocol Launches RWA Data Feeds on Stellar Mainnet

Band Protocol’s real-world asset feeds are now live on the Stellar mainnet, and for anyone watching the tokenized-finance space, it’s a practical step forward. The new Band RWA Feeds supply verifiable pricing for Centrifuge’s deRWA products, namely deJTRSY (tokenized U.S. Treasuries) and deJAAA (tokenized CLOs), so those assets can be priced and settled onchain with less guesswork and more transparency.

This rollout is the result of a relationship that’s been quietly growing for a while. Band has been integrated with Stellar since May 2023, feeding trusted, onchain data to applications that need it, while Stellar itself has been focused on fast, low-cost payments and settlement since 2014. Centrifuge brings the tokenization layer, and now, with Band supplying the price feeds, those tokenized instruments get a dependable source of truth for valuations and transactions.

How it works isn’t magic; it’s an end-to-end pipeline that keeps things auditable. BandChain asks for the latest prices for products like deJTRSY and deJAAA, its validators pull data from multiple trusted off-chain sources and aggregate it to reduce the risk of manipulation, and then the verified price is written into Band’s Standard Reference Contracts on Stellar. Centrifuge reads those same onchain reference points, so every valuation and settlement uses the same trusted numbers. Every update is recorded onchain, which makes the whole process transparent and easy to audit.

Delivering Trusted RWA Data

For institutions and individual users, the idea is simple: get exposure to regulated yield products through DeFi flows without having to trust a single counterparty for price data. For builders, it means there’s now a plug-and-play data layer available on Stellar they can use to power vaults, stablecoins, or any app that needs reliable RWA pricing.

The timing matters. Interest from institutions in tokenized RWAs is picking up, and as more large players look at tokenization, the demand for real-time, trustworthy pricing grows too. Stellar provides the settlement rails and a low-fee environment many institutions prefer; Band supplies the decentralized, tamper-resistant data those assets need to behave like real financial instruments onchain. Put together, they make it easier for assets issued through Centrifuge to operate with the reliability required for production use.

This launch is also a reminder that the pieces of tokenized finance are coming together: infrastructure layers for payments and settlement, oracle networks guaranteeing data integrity, and tokenization platforms converting offchain assets into tradable digital tokens. That interplay will determine how quickly and how safely institutional adoption moves forward.

If you build on Stellar or are working with tokenized assets, Band’s RWA feeds are now something you can integrate directly via the Standard Reference Contracts. Band presents itself as more than an oracle; the team positions the network as a data layer that can feed DeFi, GameFi, and AI systems with real-time information and minimal counterparty risk. The feeds are live now on Stellar, and Centrifuge-issued deRWA products will use this pipeline for pricing. If you want to explore integration or learn more, Band’s contact page has the details.

Taiko Makes Chainlink Data Streams Its Official Oracle

The post Taiko Makes Chainlink Data Streams Its Official Oracle appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Key Notes Taiko has officially integrated Chainlink Data Streams for its Layer 2 network. The integration provides developers with high-speed market data to build advanced DeFi applications. The move aims to improve security and attract institutional adoption by using Chainlink’s established infrastructure. Taiko, an Ethereum-based ETH $4 514 24h volatility: 0.4% Market cap: $545.57 B Vol. 24h: $28.23 B Layer 2 rollup, has announced the integration of Chainlink LINK $23.26 24h volatility: 1.7% Market cap: $15.75 B Vol. 24h: $787.15 M Data Streams. The development comes as the underlying Ethereum network continues to see significant on-chain activity, including large sales from ETH whales. The partnership establishes Chainlink as the official oracle infrastructure for the network. It is designed to provide developers on the Taiko platform with reliable and high-speed market data, essential for building a wide range of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, from complex derivatives platforms to more niche projects involving unique token governance models. According to the project’s official announcement on Sept. 17, the integration enables the creation of more advanced on-chain products that require high-quality, tamper-proof data to function securely. Taiko operates as a “based rollup,” which means it leverages Ethereum validators for transaction sequencing for strong decentralization. Boosting DeFi and Institutional Interest Oracles are fundamental services in the blockchain industry. They act as secure bridges that feed external, off-chain information to on-chain smart contracts. DeFi protocols, in particular, rely on oracles for accurate, real-time price feeds. Taiko leadership stated that using Chainlink’s infrastructure aligns with its goals. The team hopes the partnership will help attract institutional crypto investment and support the development of real-world applications, a goal that aligns with Chainlink’s broader mission to bring global data on-chain. Integrating real-world economic information is part of a broader industry trend. Just last week, Chainlink partnered with the Sei…
