PANews reported on November 19th that, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin, a "whale who shorted 50.62 million ASTER tokens after CZ posted his ASTER holdings" is currently facing a floating loss of up to $21.5 million. He shorted ASTER at $1.20 after CZ's post, and when ASTER later rebounded to $0.84, he had a floating profit of over $16 million. However, he closed his position only a few days ago after the rebound, so he ultimately only made a profit of less than $1 million.
After closing his ASTER position, he opened long positions in ETH and XRP worth $300 million. The opening price for ETH was $3,220, and for XRP, it was $2.29. With the market continuing to decline in recent days, these two long positions have suffered significant losses, currently amounting to a paper loss of $21.5 million.
