Shiba Inu Drowned Under Widening Uncertainty, Traders Debate What’s Next for Meme Token’s Survival

Meanwhile, discussions are slowly shifting toward projects focused on execution and infrastructure. Alongside Shiba Inu, attention continues to build around Remittix, a utility focused PayFi platform that has begun rolling out live products. This contrast reflects how market conditions are reshaping what traders consider the best crypto to buy now.

Shiba Inu Price Action And On-Chain Confusion

With a market capitalization of $5.01 billion and a daily trading volume of $110.06 million, Shiba Inu is selling around $0.0000085, a notable gain of 1.15% over the previous day. These figures reflect steady participation without signs of forced selling.

Uncertainty rose after reports showed more than 23.56 trillion SHIB moved within one day. Initial reactions suggested whale exits, though market behavior told a different story. Price remained stable, and exchange liquidity showed no stress during the activity spike.

A closer breakdown from this on-chain activity review suggests the movement may be tied to reporting or aggregation irregularities. Wallet activity and active addresses did not shift meaningfully during the period.

This episode highlights how Shiba Inu News can spark reactions without translating into real market pressure. During volatile cycles, headline driven activity does not always reflect genuine positioning changes.

Meme Tokens In Volatile Cycles Face Structural Limits

Meme tokens like Shiba Inu often depend on visibility and narrative strength. When volatility rises, those factors alone struggle to provide sustained support without external catalysts. This places Shiba Inu in a holding pattern driven mostly by sentiment.

High volatility cycles tend to favor tokens with direct usage tied to payment flow or platform demand. As liquidity rotates, traders look beyond branding and measure how projects perform outside price movement.

This shift continues to influence how traders define value across the market. It also explains why discussions around the best crypto to buy now increasingly reference real world functionality rather than speculative traction.

Remittix Builds Utility As Market Priorities Shift

Remittix has entered this phase with live infrastructure already active. The Remittix Wallet is now available on the Apple App Store, offering secure storage and crypto transfers as the first phase of its broader PayFi vision. The current RTX price stands at $0.119 per token.

The project has raised over $28.5 million through private funding, showing sustained interest in its payment focused design. More than 693 million tokens have been sold as community participation continues to grow.

Remittix is expanding its Beta Wallet testing program to more iOS users, allowing direct feedback ahead of the upcoming crypto to fiat upgrade. That feature will allow users to send crypto to bank accounts within the same wallet.

Key developments supporting confidence include team verification and a number one ranking on CertiK, plus revealed future exchange listings on BitMart and LBank. Remittix has not listed yet but has confirmed both platforms.

Together, these steps position Remittix as the Remittix DeFi project gaining traction during volatile periods, supported by live tools rather than narrative alone.

Survival Now Depends On More Than Sentiment

As uncertainty stays elevated, Shiba Inu sits at a point where visibility alone may not sustain long-term interest. Volatile phases have started to favor projects with operational progress rather than reaction-driven momentum.

This shift explains why traders increasingly compare meme tokens to utility-focused platforms like Remittix, which is rolling out real payment infrastructure as market priorities change.

FAQ

Why is Shiba Inu facing increased uncertainty right now?
Shiba Inu is experiencing headline driven volatility without clear follow through in price or usage. On-chain spikes have raised questions, though behavior suggests no major structural change.

What caused the large SHIB on-chain movement?
Reports showing trillions of SHIB moves appear linked to data aggregation or reporting issues rather than real selling activity, according to wallet behavior and liquidity data.

How does volatility affect meme tokens like Shiba Inu?
During volatile cycles, meme tokens rely heavily on sentiment. Without direct utility drivers, they often struggle to maintain sustained momentum.

Why are traders watching Remittix during this period?
Traders are paying attention to Remittix due to its live wallet, upcoming crypto to fiat features, and strong private funding support rather than market hype.

What makes Remittix different from meme tokens?
Remittix focuses on payment utility, infrastructure rollout, and real use cases. These factors tend to hold steadier interest during high uncertainty phases.

Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum

The post Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. A crypto whale lost more than $6 million in staked Ethereum (stETH) and Aave-wrapped Bitcoin (aEthWBTC) after approving malicious signatures in a phishing scheme on Sept. 18, according to blockchain security firm Scam Sniffer. According to the firm, the attackers disguised their move as a routine wallet confirmation through “Permit” signatures, which tricked the victim into authorizing fund transfers without triggering obvious red flags. Yu Xian, founder of blockchain security company SlowMist, noted that the victim did not recognize the danger because the transaction required no gas fees. He wrote: “From the victim’s perspective, he just clicked a few times to confirm the wallet’s pop-up signature requests, didn’t spend a single penny of gas, and $6.28 million was gone.” How Permit exploits work Permit approvals were originally designed to simplify token transfers. Instead of submitting an on-chain approval and paying fees, a user can sign an off-chain message authorizing a spender. That efficiency, however, has created a new attack surface for malicious players. Once a user signs such a permit, attackers can combine two functions—Permit and TransferFrom—to drain assets directly. Because the authorization takes place off-chain, wallet dashboards show no unusual activity until the funds move. As a result, the assets are gone when the approval executes on-chain, and tokens are redirected to the attacker’s wallet. This loophole has made permit exploits increasingly attractive for malicious actors, who can siphon millions without needing complex hacks or high-cost gas wars. Phishing losses The latest theft highlights a wider trend of escalating phishing campaigns. Scam Sniffer reported that in August alone, attackers stole $12.17 million from more than 15,200 victims. That figure represented a 72% jump in losses compared with July. According to the firm, the most significant share of August’s damages came from three large accounts that accounted for nearly half…
