The veteran consumer and B2B growth executive brings more than two decades of cross‑industry leadership and go‑to‑market experience to accelerate strategic growth and partnerships at Teikametrics.

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Teikametrics, the leading AI-powered optimization platform, today announced that Daryk Pengelly has joined as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, where he will lead strategy and strategic partnerships to drive growth and expand the platform’s impact on eCommerce brands.

“Daryk’s wealth of experience in scaling high-growth businesses, coupled with his deep understanding of the B2B and consumer markets, makes him the ideal leader to help us accelerate key areas of the business as we continue to expand the reach and impact of our platform,” said Alasdair McLean-Foreman, CEO of Teikametrics.

Pengelly brings over two decades of leadership experience across both private startups and global Fortune 500 companies. He joins Teikametrics from Walmart Business, where he was a co-founding leader and Head of Membership & Business Development. During his tenure, his leadership in go-to-market initiatives helped accelerate brand awareness, membership expansion, and incremental GMV for Walmart Business. Pengelly also played a key role in launching Walmart’s first B2B eCommerce membership program, negotiating marketing partnerships, and driving exponential membership growth.

Before Walmart, Pengelly served as a senior leader at Virgin Pulse, where he helped scale the B2B SaaS health and wellness platform that was acquired by Marlin and later merged with HealthComp to form Personify Health. He also spent several years at Reebok, leading brand strategy and special projects for the Reebok Classic lifestyle business, where he managed global influencer and celebrity marketing initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Pengelly served as Senior Manager in Walmart’s Corporate Strategy group that worked on behalf of the Walmart C-Suite and Board of Directors. He also served as Chief of Staff of Walmart’s Digital Brands group, which launched new brands such as Allswell and Free Assembly. He has also provided independent advisory services and has served on the Board of Advisors for the Overtown Youth Center in Miami, Florida.

“I’m energized by Teikametrics’ mission, the team, and the opportunity to drive meaningful results for our customers and partners,” said Pengelly.

Pengelly holds an AB, cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was awarded a Dean’s Fellowship.

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…
