PANews reported on January 15th that, according to a Trust Wallet announcement, the compensation process for the security incident involving its browser plugin v2.68 has begun. The first batch of eligible users has already received compensation, and approximately 95% of compensation applications for affected funds have been received. The remaining applications will be processed within 30 days. Users are advised to immediately disable the affected wallets and migrate their assets. The necessary tools have been integrated into the new plugin and mobile app. Continuing to use the compromised wallet carries significant risk. The deadline for compensation applications is February 14th.
