After discussing a few running backs and wide receivers to trade for, here are a few trades you need to make in your dynasty fantasy football league. All three trades are based on Keep Trade Cut and come with exact recommendations.
If you have one of these three players, this article is perfect for you. Even if you don’t, this should give you a better understanding of the dynasty fantasy football landscape.
Trade Tyler Warren for Colston Loveland +
Right now, my own analysis is that Colston Loveland is a better NFL tight end than Tyler Warren. That includes blocking, something Warren is great at.
The counter for wanting Warren is that he doesn’t have a ton of target competition in this Indianapolis Colts offense. However, there’s risk with the Colts quarterback situation as Daniel Jones suffered an ACL injury last year and he’s now a free agent.
Even if Jones is healthy, Caleb Williams has looked like he could be an elite quarterback for years to come. Regardless of the target competition of Rome Odunze and DJ Moore, Loveland has been fantastic as of late.
Since Week 9, Loveland scored over 10 points (PPR) six times and over 20 points three times. With Warren being ranked as the 39th overall player in dynasty while Loveland is fat 48, this is a great opportunity to make this trade.
Trade Saquon Barkley for Kyren Williams +
Following a season where Saquon Barkley scored just 14.5 PPG, it’s hard to see things getting much better now that he’s 28 years old. With Barkley, he is the clear RB1 in this Philadelphia Eagles offense, where he had 280 carries, and Tank Bigsby was the RB2 at 58 carries.
Now, it also needs to be noted that Jalen Hurts had 105 carries, which is something that Kyren Williams doesn’t need to worry about.
Some people are going to be concerned about Kyren Williams going from 17 PPG in 2024 to 15.5 in 2025, but his efficiency going up from 4.1 YPC to 4.8 is what I’m more interested in.
Most importantly, Williams is only 25 years old, which is a huge deal in dynasty. The reason people are concerned is that Blake Corum is going to take over as the RB1 in 2026.
Corum was the Los Angeles Rams 83rd overall draft pick in 2024, and this past year, he had 145 carries and 5.1 YPC. With Williams having 4.8 YPC on 259 carries, there’s no reason to believe that this usage will significantly change in 2026.
Even if you’re contending in 2026, you should trade Barkley who’s the RB14 (63rd overall) for Williams ranked as the RB17 (63rd overall). Not only is Williams younger, but it seems like there’s a good shot he’ll score more PPG than Barkley next year.

Trade Sam LaPorta for Kyle Pitts +
After years of waiting, Kyle Pitts finally had his massive breakout season. Pitts scored 12.4 PPG after catching 88 passes for 928 yards and five touchdowns.
Keep in mind that Pitts was a phenomenal prospect, the 4th overall pick, and he’s just 25 years old right now. In terms of his development, there’s a very good chance that he’ll keep getting much better over the next few years.
After scoring 14.1 PPG as a rookie, Sam LaPorta hasn’t been able to cross over 12 PPG since. LaPorta only played in nine games this past year, but that rookie season was anchored by 10 touchdowns. Something that’s not as sustainable as receptions.
When you look at receptions, Pitts had more catches this past year (88) than LaPorta had when he scored 14.1 PPG (86). Pitts is about to become a free agent, which could change his situation, but you should expect LaPorta to be stuck behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams for years to come.
Most importantly, you’re getting a discount for this trade with LaPorta being ranked 77th, and Pitts is 83rd. If you own any of these three players in your dynasty fantasy football league, you should make these moves right now.
