Today’s short-term outlook and critical levels to watch

Short-Term Market Outlook

XLM is trading sideways around 0.21$. With a slight 0.24% increase over the last 24 hours, the price is stuck in the 0.21$ – 0.21$ range for today. Volume remains at a moderate level of 46.82M$, which may limit volatility in the near term. RSI at 52.99 is in the neutral zone, while MACD is giving a slowing bullish signal with a positive histogram. Supertrend is producing a bearish signal at the 0.22$ resistance, but the price is holding above EMA20 (0.21$), preserving the short-term bullish trend. Overall trend is sideways; it may stay in a narrow band in the 24-48 hour window unless a sudden breakout occurs. In MTF context, there are 13 strong levels across 1D/3D/1W timeframes: 3 supports/4 resistances in 1D, 1 support in 3D, 2 supports/4 resistances in 1W. News flow is calm, indicating that technical levels will take center stage.

Intraday Critical Levels

Nearby Support Zones

Immediate supports are tightly positioned: The strongest is $0.2047 (score 66/100), followed by $0.2097 (63/100) and $0.2073 (63/100). These levels could be tested in 1D and 4H timeframes. A close below $0.2047 could trigger a quick drop, opening the downside target to $0.1821. For invalidation, it must hold above $0.2097; this is the first line of defense for scalp traders.

Nearby Resistance Zones

Among resistances, $0.2114 (66/100) is the most critical, closely followed by $0.2147 (62/100) and $0.2336 (61/100). A break above $0.2114 could accelerate momentum. Supertrend’s overlap with the 0.22$ resistance adds extra strength here. For intraday scalps, approach with long entries above $0.2114, invalidation below $0.2147. Stay cautious until reaching longer-term resistances.

Momentum and Speed Analysis

Short-term momentum is mildly bullish thanks to MACD’s positive histogram, but RSI’s neutral position around 53 is limiting speed. While Supertrend exerts bearish pressure, holding above EMA20 is encouraging intraday buyers. Without a volume increase (currently 46M$), sudden spikes may remain limited. Watch for $0.2114 breakout or $0.2047 test for potential acceleration in 24 hours. Risk: High whipsaw risk on false breakouts; place stop-losses 0.5% outside levels.

Short-Term Scenarios

Upside Scenario

A close above $0.2114 activates the bullish scenario: Fast target $0.2268 (score 26). Trigger: BTC stays stable and volume rises above 50M$. For intraday swings, long at $0.2114, targets $0.2147-0.2268, invalidation below $0.2097. Risk/reward manageable at 1:2 ratio, but Supertrend warns bearish.

Downside Scenario

A break below $0.2047 initiates bearish action: Target $0.1821 (score 0). Trigger: BTC loses $88,472 support. For scalp shorts, entry below $0.2073, target $0.2047, invalidation above $0.2114. High risk for short-term traders; position size should not exceed 1%.

Bitcoin Correlation

BTC is sideways at 89,239$, down -0.15% in 24h. XLM is highly correlated with BTC; as long as BTC holds $88,472-$87,393 supports, XLM can maintain the 0.21$ band. BTC’s Supertrend is bearish, so caution in altcoins: If BTC breaks $90,260 resistance, XLM gains upside momentum to $0.2268; a drop below $86,511 pushes XLM to test $0.2047. If BTC dominance rises, XLM stays under pressure; key BTC levels: Supports 88,472/87,393/86,511; Resistances 90,260/91,126/92,052. XLM traders should prioritize BTC flow. Daily Summary and Watch Points

Today’s focus: $0.2114 breakout (bull) vs $0.2047 loss (bear). If sideways continues, 0.2073-0.2114 scalping range. Volume increase, RSI 60+, or MACD acceleration signals momentum. Risk management: Positions at 1% capital, tight stops (0.3-0.5% risk). Short-term trades carry high volatility; discipline is essential against capital loss risk. Watch: BTC 88k band, XLM 0.21 pivot. 48-hour outlook sideways-bullish biased, breakouts will be decisive.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
