STOCKHOLM, Feb. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CheckProof today announced that Josh Cage, Country Manager, U.S., will relocate from the U.K. to Houston, Texas in February 2026 to strengthen daily proximity , deepen partnerships with U.S. customers and accelerate growth in the region. With Cage based in Houston, Cage will continue to lead CheckProof’s U.S. commercial growth, manage the U.S. team, and oversee key customer relationships as CheckProof scales its operations management platform for Maintenance, Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental processes. He will report to Sanne Wiman, Vice President of Sales & Customer Success.

Cage brings experience from construction materials and quarry operations, including roles at CEMEX,. During this period, he also completed Safety, Health & Environment QCF Level 6 and a Mineral Extractives Foundation Degree (Distinction). He joined CheckProof as Sales Manager in March 2024 and has since played a central role in expanding the company’s commercial footprint, helping secure major customers and strengthening long-term partnerships across the sector.

He responded to the mention of my fandom, “So far, I don’t think this interview is going very well.” Yet, Wainwright will return to Busch Stadium on September 19 on a more serious note, this time to honor another former Cardinal and friend, the late Darryl Kile. Wainwright will take the mound not as a starting pitcher, but to throw out the game’s ceremonial first pitch. Joining him on the mound will be Kile’s daughter, Sierra, as the two help launch a new program called Playing with Heart. “Darryl’s passing was a reminder that heart disease doesn’t discriminate, even against elite athletes in peak physical shape,” Wainwright said. “This program is about helping people recognize the risks, take action, and hopefully save lives.” Wainwright, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals as a starting pitcher from 2005 to 2023, aims to merge the essence of baseball tradition with a crucial message about heart health.
