JASMY Technical Analysis Feb 23

Momentum indicators in JASMY are painting a weak picture; while RSI hovers in the neutral zone at the 40.30 level, the MACD histogram shows an unstable structure on the zero line, and a bearish short-term trend dominates below EMA20.

Trend Status and Momentum Analysis

JASMY is currently trading at the 0.01 dollar level and has narrowed its daily range to a tight band between 0.01 – 0.01 dollars with a 4.21% decline over the last 24 hours. Volume is hovering around 7.50 million dollars, which is a low level indicating weak momentum. The overall trend direction is downward, and the Supertrend indicator is giving a bearish signal, positioning the 0.01 dollar level as resistance. In terms of momentum, short-term pressure dominates, while 13 strong levels have been identified across multiple timeframes (1D/3D/1W); these are distributed as 3 supports and 4 resistances on 1D, 1 support and 2 resistances on 3D, and 2 supports and 3 resistances on 1W. This confluence shows that resistances are more dominant for upward movements, and volume increase is necessary for momentum recovery. The price remaining below EMA20 (0.01 dollars) weakens short-term trend strength and reinforces bearish momentum. The daily change follows BTC’s 4.51% losses with a 4.21% decline, reflecting the general weakness in altcoins.

RSI Indicator: Buy or Sell?

RSI Divergence Analysis

RSI (14) is currently at the 40.30 level and positioned in the neutral zone. This value neither signals oversold (below 30) nor overbought (above 70), but staying below 50 indicates a slight superiority of selling momentum. No regular bearish divergence has been observed recently; as the price makes new lows, RSI has not formed higher lows, which increases the potential for the trend to continue. On the other hand, hidden bearish divergence signals can be sought: Despite the price testing the 0.01 dollar resistance, RSI showing momentum loss points to weak buying power. If RSI slides toward the 30 level, oversold conditions could create short-term rebound potential, but with the current 40.30 value, momentum is neutral and selling pressure may continue. Examining RSI confluence across multiple timeframes, neutral on the 1D chart and mildly bearish on 3D; this confirms the overall downward momentum.

Overbought/Oversold Regions

RSI at 40.30 is not approaching the oversold region yet, but if it falls below 30, support levels (0.0051, 0.0054) could be tested. The current position shows that selling has slowed but buyers have not stepped in. If oversold conditions form, seeking positive divergence on RSI will be critical; there is no such signal at present, and momentum remains weak.

MACD Signals and Histogram Dynamics

MACD is in a neutral position and the histogram is moving sideways on the zero line, indicating unbalanced and contracting momentum. There is no crossover between the signal line and MACD line; the histogram squeezing at zero shows we are in a direction-determination phase. The recent shrinking of histogram bars emphasizes decreasing momentum and potential for a breakout after consolidation. There is no bearish histogram expansion, but if it stays below the zero line, the sell signal could strengthen. MACD remaining neutral on the 1D timeframe supports the continuation of the short-term trend, while similar neutral structures are observed on higher timeframes (3D/1W). Without volume confirmation, strong signals should not be expected from MACD; the current 7.50M volume is low and weakens momentum confirmation.

EMA Systems and Trend Strength

Short-Term EMAs

The price is trading below EMA20 (0.01 dollars), confirming the short-term bearish trend. The EMA ribbon structure has narrowed and is sloping downward; there is consolidation between EMA10 and EMA20, indicating weak momentum. The short-term EMAs forming resistance brings the volume condition for an upside breakout.

Medium/Long-Term EMA Supports

Medium-term EMA50 and EMA200 levels are lower (estimated around the 0.006-0.007 band), and support tests could be made if the price approaches them. The overall downward slope of the EMA ribbon shows weak trend strength and maintains a long-term bearish bias. Without ribbon expansion, momentum recovery looks difficult.

Bitcoin Correlation

BTC is at the 64,898 dollar level with a 4.51% decline in a downtrend; Supertrend is bearish with supports at 64,323 – 62,183 – 60,025 dollars. Resistances at 65,578 – 68,200 – 71,069. As a highly correlated altcoin with BTC, JASMY is affected by BTC’s decline; rising BTC dominance could trigger altcoin sales. If BTC breaks the 64,323 support, pressure on JASMY increases toward 0.0051, while a breakout above 65,578 could support an altcoin rally. Current BTC weakness is limiting JASMY momentum; monitor BTC levels for JASMY Spot Analysis and JASMY Futures Analysis.

Momentum Result and Expectations

In the synthesis of momentum indicators, JASMY shows a bearish bias: RSI 40.30 neutral but selling superior, MACD histogram contracted at zero, price below EMAs, and low volume. Supports at 0.0051 (67/100), 0.0054 (66/100), 0.0045 (60/100); resistances at 0.0057 (83/100), 0.0067 (68/100), 0.0074 (67/100). Bullish target 0.0081 (31), bearish 0.0029 (22). For momentum recovery, RSI above 50, MACD positive crossover, and volume increase are needed. In the short term, the 0.0057 resistance is critical; a breakdown brings downward continuation. BTC downtrend is pressuring altcoins, stay cautious.

The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 25 basis points, and Powell said this was a risk management cut

PANews reported on September 18th, according to the Securities Times, that at 2:00 AM Beijing time on September 18th, the Federal Reserve announced a 25 basis point interest rate cut, lowering the federal funds rate from 4.25%-4.50% to 4.00%-4.25%, in line with market expectations. The Fed's interest rate announcement triggered a sharp market reaction, with the three major US stock indices rising briefly before quickly plunging. The US dollar index plummeted, briefly hitting a new low since 2025, before rebounding sharply, turning a decline into an upward trend. The sharp market volatility was closely tied to the subsequent monetary policy press conference held by Federal Reserve Chairman Powell. He stated that the 50 basis point rate cut lacked broad support and that there was no need for a swift adjustment. Today's move could be viewed as a risk-management cut, suggesting the Fed will not enter a sustained cycle of rate cuts. Powell reiterated the Fed's unwavering commitment to maintaining its independence. Market participants are currently unaware of the risks to the Fed's independence. The latest published interest rate dot plot shows that the median expectation of Fed officials is to cut interest rates twice more this year (by 25 basis points each), one more than predicted in June this year. At the same time, Fed officials expect that after three rate cuts this year, there will be another 25 basis point cut in 2026 and 2027.
