BREAKING: Donald Trump Releases a Video Statement
US President Donald Trump released a new video message on his Truth Social account following the joint US-Israeli operations against Iran.
In his statement, Trump announced that three US soldiers had lost their lives during the clashes. “Unfortunately, there may be more,” Trump said, adding that he called on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian army, and police forces to lay down their arms. He stated that if they surrendered, they would be granted “complete immunity,” otherwise they would face “certain death.”
Israel claimed that the first wave of attacks, carried out in coordination with the US, dealt a heavy blow to Iran’s top military leadership. Israel announced that a total of 40 high-ranking commanders were killed, most of whom were targeted in simultaneous airstrikes at two separate locations.
The Israeli side claimed that among those killed was Iranian Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdoorahim Mousavi. Iranian state media also confirmed that Mousavi and several other high-ranking security officials were killed in the attacks.
