PANews reported on March 17th that Bitget recently announced the listing of tokenized stocks and ETFs backed by Ondo Finance on Bitget's Innovation Zone, Stock Zone, and ETF Zone in the spot market. The newly listed assets cover a wide range of mainstream stocks, including Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and AMD. It also introduces index ETFs such as SPY, IVV, QQQ, IWM, and ITOT, as well as precious metal assets linked to gold and silver, providing users with a wider range of cross-market allocation options. These assets were previously listed on Bitget's on-chain trading platform.
Ondo and its subsidiaries hold Broker-Dealer and ATS licenses registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to enable compliant securities offerings. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated that this collaboration with Ondo will bring global core stocks, indices, and precious metals into the spot trading market, helping to meet users' diversified asset allocation and trading needs.
Bitget was one of the earliest mainstream platforms to support Ondo's tokenized assets, and at one point accounted for 90% of the total trading volume of Ondo-related assets. Ian De Bode, President of Ondo Finance, stated that the collaboration will further promote the platform's development towards an integrated multi-asset trading model.
