OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) Tokenomie

The Official Trump token (TRUMP) is a memecoin launched on the Solana blockchain on January 17, 2025. The project was announced by Donald Trump via his Truth Social account and is intended to function as an expression of support for the ideals and beliefs associated with the "$TRUMP" symbol.

Issuance and Supply Mechanism

The Official Trump token has a total supply of 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) TRUMP. It was launched using the LFG stack on Solana, which includes a Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker (DLMM) pool and an Initial Liquidity Market (ILM) design.

While the primary "Official Trump" token resides on Solana, there is a separate legacy "MAGA" token (also using the ticker TRUMP) that operates as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with a much smaller maximum supply of 47 million. This legacy token includes a 1% tax on all buys, sells, and transfers, which is used for marketing, development, and donations.

Allocation Mechanism

The distribution of the 1 billion Solana-based TRUMP tokens is heavily concentrated, with approximately 80% of the supply controlled by entities affiliated with the Trump administration and the Trump Organization.

Usage and Incentive Mechanism

The TRUMP token is primarily a speculative asset and a "meme" token. According to the project's official stance, the tokens are not intended to be investment opportunities or securities.

• Speculation and Trading: The token is used for trading on both decentralized exchanges (like Jupiter on Solana) and major centralized exchanges (including Coinbase, Binance.US, and Upbit).
• Community Engagement: It serves as a financial manifestation of support for the Trump administration.
• Airdrops: In February 2025, an airdrop was announced for community members who purchased official products (sneakers, watches, fragrances, or cards) prior to February 15, 2025. Eligible users could claim 3 TRUMP tokens per email used for purchases.
• Revenue Generation: CIC Digital LLC and Celebration Cards LLC (affiliates of the Trump Organization) receive trading revenue derived from the trading activities of Trump Meme Cards.

Locking and Unlocking Mechanism

The majority of the supply (800 million tokens) is subject to strict lock-up periods and vesting schedules. These tokens are held by six distinct entities labeled "Creators and CIC Digital 1-6."

Cliff and Vesting Schedules

The unlocking process involves an initial "cliff" followed by a two-year linear vesting period:

• 3-Month Cliff (Entities 1 & 4): 10% of the allocated tokens unlock after three months, with the remainder vesting daily over two years.
• 6-Month Cliff (Entities 2 & 5): 25% of the allocated tokens unlock after six months, with the remainder vesting daily over two years.
• 12-Month Cliff (Entities 3 & 6): 25% of the allocated tokens unlock after twelve months, with the remainder vesting daily over two years.

Current Unlock Data

As of late February 2026, the token is undergoing a period of gradual daily releases. Data indicates a consistent daily unlock of 904,111 TRUMP tokens. Each of these daily events represents an approximate 0.39% impact on the current circulating supply. This daily vesting is expected to continue for the duration of the two-year vesting period established at launch.
