Sudeng (HIPPO) Tokenomics

Sudeng, associated with the Suilend protocol, features a structured token economic model designed to balance immediate community rewards with long-term ecosystem sustainability and team alignment. The total supply is distributed across several key stakeholder groups, including airdrop recipients, investors, the core team, and ecosystem incentives.

Issuance and Allocation Mechanism

The total token supply is allocated across six primary categories. A significant portion of the supply was made available at the Token Generation Event (TGE) to reward early users and community members, while other portions are subject to multi-year vesting schedules.

Usage and Incentive Mechanism

The SEND token serves as a core utility and incentive component within the Suilend ecosystem.

• Incentive Distribution: 15% of the total supply (15,000,000 tokens) is specifically earmarked for protocol incentives. These are distributed to users to encourage liquidity provision and borrowing activities.
• Reward Structure: Incentives are released gradually to ensure sustained participation. Following an initial release at TGE, the remaining incentive tokens are distributed monthly over a 48-month period to align with the protocol's long-term growth.
• Treasury Management: The Treasury holds 10% of the supply, which is used for treasury-controlled emissions to support the protocol's evolving needs and strategic initiatives.

Locking Mechanism and Unlocking Time

Sudeng employs a combination of "cliffs" and linear vesting to manage the release of tokens and prevent market shocks. The TGE occurred on December 10, 2024.

• Immediate Unlocks (TGE):

  • Airdrops: The Suilend Airdrop (20,000,000 tokens), Save Airdrop (15,000,000 tokens), and Ecosystem Airdrop (5,000,000 tokens) were fully unlocked at TGE.
  • Initial Treasury/Team/Investor Portions: Small initial amounts from the Treasury (1,500,000), Team (750,000), and Investors (2,000,000) were also released at TGE.

• Vesting Schedules:

  • Investors: Following a 6-month cliff, the remaining 18,000,000 tokens vest monthly over 18 months, concluding 2 years after TGE.
  • Team: Following a 6-month cliff, the remaining 14,250,000 tokens vest monthly over 42 months, concluding 4 years after TGE.
  • Treasury: After an initial 6-month period, 8,500,000 tokens are released monthly over 42 months.
  • Incentives: These are distributed in phases, with a significant portion (7,500,000 tokens) vesting monthly between month 6 and month 24, followed by a final phase of 6,000,000 tokens vesting monthly through month 48.
