Despite spending months promoting her debut solo album Alter Ego and releasing multiple tunes that were eligible across a variety of categories, Blackpink singer Lisa did not earn a single Grammy nomination for the upcoming 2026 ceremony. Her bandmate Rosé ended up with three nods, as “Apt.,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars, is in the running for both Record and Song of the Year, as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, making history for K-pop as a genre.
While Lisa and her legion of fans may be disappointed by the Recording Academy’s decision not to recognize her work — either on her own or as a member of Blackpink, which has still yet to earn any love from the organization — she does make history on one Billboard chart this week. Lisa has largely stopped promoting Alter Ego and the tunes featured on its tracklist, but one song is still present on a single tally, and as it holds on, the cut ties a special all-time record — one set by Rosé herself.

Lisa’s “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” is present once again on the Adult Contemporary chart, one of Billboard’s three pop radio rosters. This time around, the Alter Ego cut dips one space to No. 16 as it reaches 23 weeks on the airplay ranking.
“Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” is now tied as the longest-running hit by any K-pop musician in the history of the Adult Contemporary chart. The tune is on the same level as “Apt.,” as both have managed 23 stays on the list. While “Apt.” can no longer be found on the radio tally, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” is performing relatively well and could easily beat Rosé and Mars’s record in a day when the chart company refreshes its rosters again.

All three songs had stalled at No. 16, which for years stood as the loftiest position that any track connected to a K-pop act had climbed to. “Golden” Matched Lisa’s Smash for an All-Time Record
Only days after Lisa made history with the highest-rising hit ever by a K-pop star, her showing has been matched. This week, “Golden,” the biggest hit from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters – which, like “Apt.,” makes history as it earns multiple Grammy nominations – reaches the same spot. That tune is credited to both the fictional K-pop girl group Huntr/x, as well as the three vocalists who portray the characters in the film, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. With some luck, “Golden” will climb once more and become the most successful K-pop track in the history of the chart.

“Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” is one of just two hits by Lisa that have appeared on the Adult Contemporary chart. The Alter Ego tune was the first, as it arrived in March, and it’s impressively still going strong after stepping away for a time.
Only two months after “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” debuted, Lisa joined Maroon 5 on “Priceless.” That track, which ended up spending a total of a lucky 13 weeks somewhere on the roster, also climbed to No. 16 and for a time was matched as the highest-rising hit ever.

Alter Ego’s promotional period ran for longer than most pop albums, as Lisa has been positioned as a breakout global star for a long time. The Thai superstar – who is best-known for her work in K-pop – dropped lead single “Rockstar” in June 2024, and ended up doling out for more, including “New Woman” with Rosalia, “Born Again” with both Raye and Doja Cat, “Fxck Up the World” with rapper Future – there are many collaborations on the full-length – and, of course, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me).” Alter Ego itself arrived in late February, and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.
