The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has been evolving for years, but a recent comment from a validator has the crypto world buzzing. They said it will be “game over” once the XRPL native DEX reaches deep liquidity with high-quality assets. For anyone keeping an eye on the XRP price, that’s a big deal.

The XRPL has had a built-in decentralized exchange since 2012, but it’s never had the liquidity or range of assets to compete with Ethereum-based DEXs like Uniswap or dYdX. Bootstrapping the XRPL DEX means bringing in real money and real users. That’s when the platform could finally start competing on a serious level.

“Game Over” for Competitors? The XRPL DEX Could Be a Game-Changer

Why Deep Liquidity and Real Assets Matter

So, what makes a DEX truly competitive? Two things: high-quality assets and deep liquidity. By high-quality assets, we’re talking about real-world tokens, stablecoins, tokenized securities, institutional-grade tokens, not just random crypto projects. Ripple has been actively working on bringing these kinds of assets onto the XRPL, aiming to create a marketplace that institutions can actually rely on.

Deep liquidity is just as important. Without it, trading large sums is tricky, prices slip, and spreads are wide. With solid liquidity, trades happen smoothly, prices stay fair, and the platform can handle big transactions. That’s exactly the kind of setup that could push the XRP price higher, positioning XRP as a key layer for settlement, not just a bridge currency as indicated by TheCryptoBasic.

Why Now Feels Different for XRP

There are a few reasons the timing is interesting. The XRPL already processes millions of daily payments, with peaks over 2.7 million. It also holds roughly $2 billion in real-world assets, plus another $1.5 billion in represented RWAs. That’s a solid foundation for DeFi and DEX growth.

Adding Automated Market Maker (AMM) functionality in early 2024 was another big step. AMMs are crucial for modern DEXs, they keep liquidity flowing and trades smooth. Then there’s Ripple’s partial legal clarity after the SEC case, which has opened doors to more institutional partnerships. All of these factors combined could help the XRP price respond as the XRPL DEX gains traction.

What This Could Mean for the XRP Price

If the XRPL DEX starts attracting tokenized RWAs, institutional stablecoins, and cross-border payment assets, XRP could become more than just a bridge currency. It could turn into the settlement and liquidity layer of a major DEX ecosystem. For traders, that adds real utility and demand.

The network’s speed, settling transactions in three to five seconds, and near-zero fees give it an edge over Ethereum-based alternatives. Once deep liquidity and high-quality assets come together, the XRP price could rise as the network proves its potential.

The XRPL has been quietly ticking along, but things might be about to change. If the DEX hits that deep liquidity mark with quality assets, it could become a major hub for both retail and institutional trading. And for anyone watching the XRP price, that “game over” comment from the validator might not be so far off from reality.

The post One Of Frank Sinatra’s Most Famous Albums Is Back In The Spotlight appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Frank Sinatra’s The World We Knew returns to the Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums charts, showing continued demand for his timeless music. Frank Sinatra performs on his TV special Frank Sinatra: A Man and his Music Bettmann Archive These days on the Billboard charts, Frank Sinatra’s music can always be found on the jazz-specific rankings. While the art he created when he was still working was pop at the time, and later classified as traditional pop, there is no such list for the latter format in America, and so his throwback projects and cuts appear on jazz lists instead. It’s on those charts where Sinatra rebounds this week, and one of his popular projects returns not to one, but two tallies at the same time, helping him increase the total amount of real estate he owns at the moment. Frank Sinatra’s The World We Knew Returns Sinatra’s The World We Knew is a top performer again, if only on the jazz lists. That set rebounds to No. 15 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart and comes in at No. 20 on the all-encompassing Jazz Albums ranking after not appearing on either roster just last frame. The World We Knew’s All-Time Highs The World We Knew returns close to its all-time peak on both of those rosters. Sinatra’s classic has peaked at No. 11 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart, just missing out on becoming another top 10 for the crooner. The set climbed all the way to No. 15 on the Jazz Albums tally and has now spent just under two months on the rosters. Frank Sinatra’s Album With Classic Hits Sinatra released The World We Knew in the summer of 1967. The title track, which on the album is actually known as “The World We Knew (Over and…
