Las Vegas will host one of the most ambitious showcases of Bitcoin history and culture to date, with the bitcoin museum at the center of a major exhibition program.

Genesis headline and rare physical artifacts lead BMAG program

An original copy of The Times of London from January 3, 2009the newspaper whose front-page headline Satoshi Nakamoto embedded into Bitcoin‘s genesis blockwill be offered for public sale at Bitcoin Conference 2026, running April 2729 at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.

The historic paper, widely regarded as one of the rarest bitcoin artifacts, anchors the expanded exhibition of the Bitcoin Museum & Art Gallery or BMAG, the arts and culture division of BTC Inc, a Nakamoto Inc. (NASDAQ: NAKA) company. Moreover, it sets the tone for a program designed to merge archives, protest art, and contemporary experimentation.

The dedicated B26 gallery covers a 6,000-square-foot space inside the conference. It is anchored by four curated exhibition walls, several dozen auctions, a live painting performance by legendary street artist Mear One, the debut of BMAG’s artist-in-residence program, and a full calendar of editorial sessions and talks.

Since its formation, BMAG has facilitated more than 120 BTC in art sales, all transacted in Bitcoin. That said, the B26 program also builds on a record-setting 20.14 BTC in sales at Bitcoin 2025, underscoring several years of exponential growth for the platform.

Bitcoin 2026 scales up conference experience and cultural reach

Commenting on the expansion, Justin Doochin, Head of Events at BTC Inc, said Bitcoin 2026 reflects how far both the conference and the Bitcoin ecosystem have evolved, noting tens of thousands of attendees already registered, expanded stages, and a redesigned experience.

According to Doochin, organizers aim to build an event that meets people wherever they are in their Bitcoin journey while pushing the conversation forward globally. However, the cultural programming is intended to go beyond markets and technology, highlighting art, dissent, and community as core components of the ecosystem.

Relics of a Revolution: protest as Bitcoin’s enduring artwork

The exhibition wall titled Relics of a Revolution anchors the gallery with a thesis rarely tested in Bitcoin culture: that the movement’s most enduring artifacts may be acts of public dissent rather than code or coins.

The installation brings together Mear One‘s protest posters, painted during the Gulf War and Occupy Wall Street demonstrations, alongside the Mt. Gox protest sign carried by Kolin Burges during his vigil outside Mt. Gox’s Tokyo offices. It also features a framed original of the Satoshi Times newspaper and the infamous American flag suit worn by Afroman in court appearances and music videos.

A companion three-part editorial series in Bitcoin Magazine, authored by Dennis Koch, includes Q&A interviews with Burges, Mear One, and Afroman. Moreover, Koch will moderate a live panel titled “Looking at Bitcoin Art Through a Protest Lens” during the conference. Select works from this wall will be offered at auction through BMAG and Scarce.city, providing an on-site bridge between cultural critique and marketplace demand.

Rare Pepes, NFTs and the origins of crypto-native art

The exhibition Rare Pepes Did It First marks the tenth anniversary of the project widely credited as an origin point for crypto-native art and digital collectibles. The title references crypto artist XCOPY, who famously wrote, “whenever you think you’re first, check if Rare Pepes did it years ago.”

This installation showcases archival memorabilia that contextualizes Rare Pepes’ foundational role in the broader NFT movement. However, rather than focusing solely on market speculation, the curation emphasizes how early meme-based experiments helped shape the visual language and culture around digital scarcity and ownership.

History of Bitcoin and large-format collector editions

The wall titled History of Bitcoin presents a large display of prints from the project’s large-format collector’s edition by Smashtoshi, a global art and education collective dedicated to telling Bitcoin’s story through visuals, storytelling, and immersive experiences.

The edition assembles work from 128 artists across 2,140 copies, charting Bitcoin’s history from its cypherpunk roots to global adoption. Each pivotal moment is reimagined by a different artist and grounded in original research and first-hand accounts. Moreover, an exquisite Genesis Editions series from this project will be available for presale at Bitcoin 2026.

Artist-in-residence debut and the MEMETIKRON series

A focused two-person exhibition pairs BMAG’s inaugural Artist-in-Residence, Ksenia Buridanova, with Pepenardo, whose MEMETIKRON body of work travels from its opening at BMAG’s Nashville museum to Las Vegas for Bitcoin 2026.

Buridanova’s residency spans multiple international conference events in 2026 and follows her January debut exhibition Mysteria Memetica in Nashville. That said, this pairing allows attendees to see how different artists approach memetic imagery, narrative, and the politics of attention within Bitcoin-focused work.

Ahead of Bitcoin 2026, collectors and enthusiasts can enter the MEMETIKRON Bounty for a signed 1/1 Pepenardo drawing and purchase raffle tickets for a custom Bitcoin poker chip set. Details for both are available on shop.museum.b.tc. This initiative enhances engagement with the memetikron art installation beyond the gallery walls.

Interactive experiences, auctions and the Bitcoin Guitar

On-site, visitors can hunt for Cardsmiths bitcoin redemption cards and exclusive packs from a Lucky Box vending machine, with live-streamed TikTok card-pack openings taking place during the conference.

Attendees can also watch artist interviews at BrainSprout‘s content creator space inside the art gallery. Furthermore, for those who doubt that Bitcoin art can “shred,” the Bitcoin Guitar by Tim Ronanfinished in Bitcoin orange and featuring a full-length Satoshi Nakamoto inlay in Katakanawill be offered at a starting bid of 1 BTC in a dedicated bitcoin art auction format.

Bitcoin Week events transform Las Vegas

Bitcoin Conference 2026 extends well beyond the main expo floor. Bitcoin Week, running April 2629, will turn Las Vegas into a city-wide celebration of Bitcoin culture, finance, and community, with coordinated social gatherings and thematic shows.

Key bitcoin week events include the Women of Bitcoin Bash on April 26 at IPEC Las Vegas and a No Limit Hold’Em Poker Tournament on April 26 in The Venetian Poker Room. Additionally, the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium will take place on April 27 at The Venetian (Pro Pass required).

Other highlights include the PubKey Hotstyle Takeover on April 27 at TAO Asian Bistro & Nightclub; Whale Night on April 28 at Voltaire (Whale Pass required); and The Satos Awards on April 29 at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center. Official after parties are scheduled nightly at LIV Nightclub, Omnia, and TAO Nightclub.

Expanded culture track and BMAG access

Bitcoin 2026 introduces a dedicated Culture track exploring art, media, philosophy, education, and the social movements built around Bitcoin. It is designed to show how culture shapes adoption and narrative, extending the conference’s remit beyond protocol design and market cycles.

With more than 30,000 registered attendees, this year’s event is the largest in the conference’s history and its most culturally ambitious edition. Moreover, the expanded bitcoin culture programming positions Las Vegas as a temporary global hub for creative work rooted in the protocol.

Prospective bidders can preview auction lots on BMAG via shop.museum.b.tc and review the dedicated Satoshi Times auction page on Scarce.city. Ongoing updates will be shared on X via @BMAG_HQ.

Additional background on the protest-focused wall can be found in “Relics of a Revolution, Part 1 w/ Kolin Burges” on Bitcoin Magazine. For more information about BMAG and the broader museum bmag exhibition initiative, visit museum.b.tc.

Unlocking Massive Value: Curve Finance Revenue Sharing Proposal for CRV Holders

Unlocking Massive Value: Curve Finance Revenue Sharing Proposal for CRV Holders

BitcoinWorld Unlocking Massive Value: Curve Finance Revenue Sharing Proposal for CRV Holders The dynamic world of decentralized finance (DeFi) is constantly evolving, bringing forth new opportunities and innovations. A significant development is currently unfolding at Curve Finance, a leading decentralized exchange (DEX). Its founder, Michael Egorov, has put forth an exciting proposal designed to offer a more direct path for token holders to earn revenue. This initiative, centered around a new Curve Finance revenue sharing model, aims to bolster the value for those actively participating in the protocol’s governance. What is the “Yield Basis” Proposal and How Does it Work? At the core of this forward-thinking initiative is a new protocol dubbed Yield Basis. Michael Egorov introduced this concept on the CurveDAO governance forum, outlining a mechanism to distribute sustainable profits directly to CRV holders. Specifically, it targets those who stake their CRV tokens to gain veCRV, which are essential for governance participation within the Curve ecosystem. Let’s break down the initial steps of this innovative proposal: crvUSD Issuance: Before the Yield Basis protocol goes live, $60 million in crvUSD will be issued. Strategic Fund Allocation: The funds generated from the sale of these crvUSD tokens will be strategically deployed into three distinct Bitcoin-based liquidity pools: WBTC, cbBTC, and tBTC. Pool Capping: To ensure balanced risk and diversified exposure, each of these pools will be capped at $10 million. This carefully designed structure aims to establish a robust and consistent income stream, forming the bedrock of a sustainable Curve Finance revenue sharing mechanism. Why is This Curve Finance Revenue Sharing Significant for CRV Holders? This proposal marks a pivotal moment for CRV holders, particularly those dedicated to the long-term health and governance of Curve Finance. Historically, generating revenue for token holders in the DeFi space can often be complex. The Yield Basis proposal simplifies this by offering a more direct and transparent pathway to earnings. By staking CRV for veCRV, holders are not merely engaging in governance; they are now directly positioned to benefit from the protocol’s overall success. The significance of this development is multifaceted: Direct Profit Distribution: veCRV holders are set to receive a substantial share of the profits generated by the Yield Basis protocol. Incentivized Governance: This direct financial incentive encourages more users to stake their CRV, which in turn strengthens the protocol’s decentralized governance structure. Enhanced Value Proposition: The promise of sustainable revenue sharing could significantly boost the inherent value of holding and staking CRV tokens. Ultimately, this move underscores Curve Finance’s dedication to rewarding its committed community and ensuring the long-term vitality of its ecosystem through effective Curve Finance revenue sharing. Understanding the Mechanics: Profit Distribution and Ecosystem Support The distribution model for Yield Basis has been thoughtfully crafted to strike a balance between rewarding veCRV holders and supporting the wider Curve ecosystem. Under the terms of the proposal, a substantial portion of the value generated by Yield Basis will flow back to those who contribute to the protocol’s governance. Returns for veCRV Holders: A significant share, specifically between 35% and 65% of the value generated by Yield Basis, will be distributed to veCRV holders. This flexible range allows for dynamic adjustments based on market conditions and the protocol’s performance. Ecosystem Reserve: Crucially, 25% of the Yield Basis tokens will be reserved exclusively for the Curve ecosystem. This allocation can be utilized for various strategic purposes, such as funding ongoing development, issuing grants, or further incentivizing liquidity providers. This ensures the continuous growth and innovation of the platform. The proposal is currently undergoing a democratic vote on the CurveDAO governance forum, giving the community a direct voice in shaping the future of Curve Finance revenue sharing. The voting period is scheduled to conclude on September 24th. What’s Next for Curve Finance and CRV Holders? The proposed Yield Basis protocol represents a pioneering approach to sustainable revenue generation and community incentivization within the DeFi landscape. If approved by the community, this Curve Finance revenue sharing model has the potential to establish a new benchmark for how decentralized exchanges reward their most dedicated participants. It aims to foster a more robust and engaged community by directly linking governance participation with tangible financial benefits. This strategic move by Michael Egorov and the Curve Finance team highlights a strong commitment to innovation and strengthening the decentralized nature of the protocol. For CRV holders, a thorough understanding of this proposal is crucial for making informed decisions regarding their staking strategies and overall engagement with one of DeFi’s foundational platforms. FAQs about Curve Finance Revenue Sharing Q1: What is the main goal of the Yield Basis proposal? A1: The primary goal is to establish a more direct and sustainable way for CRV token holders who stake their tokens (receiving veCRV) to earn revenue from the Curve Finance protocol. Q2: How will funds be generated for the Yield Basis protocol? A2: Initially, $60 million in crvUSD will be issued and sold. The funds from this sale will then be allocated to three Bitcoin-based pools (WBTC, cbBTC, and tBTC), with each pool capped at $10 million, to generate profits. Q3: Who benefits from the Yield Basis revenue sharing? A3: The proposal states that between 35% and 65% of the value generated by Yield Basis will be returned to veCRV holders, who are CRV stakers participating in governance. Q4: What is the purpose of the 25% reserve for the Curve ecosystem? A4: This 25% reserve of Yield Basis tokens is intended to support the broader Curve ecosystem, potentially funding development, grants, or other initiatives that contribute to the platform’s growth and sustainability. Q5: When is the vote on the Yield Basis proposal? A5: A vote on the proposal is currently underway on the CurveDAO governance forum and is scheduled to run until September 24th.
