MANILA, Philippines – Ramil Madriaga, the alleged former bagman of Vice President Sara Duterte, claimed that two bags containing cash of up to P35 million each were delivered to the parking lot of the Office of the Ombudsman, then led by Samuel Martires, in December 2022.
He told the House justice committee on Tuesday, April 14, that a red Mazda sedan, which contained the bags, was left at the car park, and the keys were left on top of the left front wheel.
Madriaga also claimed that before that, he had already delivered money to Martires upon the directions of former president Rodrigo Duterte or his daughter Sara.
