The procedure, a robotic gastrojejunostomy, was performed on May 2, 2026, by Dr. Mohit Bhandari, President of IRCAD India, during the Royal Australian College of Surgeons Annual Scientific Congress.

The surgery utilized the company’s SSi Mantra surgical robotic system and the SSi MantrAsana tele-surgeon console, a compact, chair-based version of the standard surgeon command center designed for portability and remote procedures.
