The post Resurrection’s Season 2 Release Date appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Dexter Resurrection Paramount Plus While it was announced that after a very popular season, Dexter: Resurrection would be back for season 2, when that season will arrive is another story entirely. No date has been announced, but using some math, I believe we can narrow down a release date for season 2 and see how long we’ll have to wait for more Dexter: Resurrection. Here’s what we know: With the announcement of Dexter: Resurrection season 2 this month, October 2025, it was revealed that the writers’ room is opening up as we speak. Dexter: New Blood was outlining the script in the summer of 2019 before that show was released in November 2021. Dexter: Original Sin started script development in Spring 2024 before its release in December 2024. That’s a range of 2 years and 4 months to just 9 months. Big difference! However, I’m going to lean more toward the Original Sin side of things rather than New Blood. Namely, New Blood was the first time a Dexter team would reassemble since the June 2013 premiere of the final season of the show (though longer than that, as most of the original team wasn’t on the show by that point). After that, it would be far easier to have the team already together for Original Sin, and then Resurrection thereafter. Additionally, New Blood was developed during the writer’s strike, meaning everything was on hold for several months, but the delay could stretch production time even past that. Dexter Resurrection Paramount Plus I am willing to bet that, despite it being unusual in the streaming landscape, that it’s likely that there will be just a year between Dexter: Resurrection seasons 1 and 2, which would make that July 2026. Resurrection’s Season 2 Release Date

Dexter Resurrection

Paramount Plus

While it was announced that after a very popular season, Dexter: Resurrection would be back for season 2, when that season will arrive is another story entirely.

No date has been announced, but using some math, I believe we can narrow down a release date for season 2 and see how long we’ll have to wait for more Dexter: Resurrection. Here’s what we know:

  • With the announcement of Dexter: Resurrection season 2 this month, October 2025, it was revealed that the writers’ room is opening up as we speak.
  • Dexter: New Blood was outlining the script in the summer of 2019 before that show was released in November 2021.
  • Dexter: Original Sin started script development in Spring 2024 before its release in December 2024.

Dexter Resurrection

Paramount Plus

I am willing to bet that, despite it being unusual in the streaming landscape, that it’s likely that there will be just a year between Dexter: Resurrection seasons 1 and 2, which would make that July 2026. This also seems possible given that from 2006 to 2013, 12-episode seasons of Dexter were out every year almost to the day, minus season 8 which somehow got there in closer to 10 months. Meanwhile, Dexter: Resurrection has two fewer episodes to film with its 10-episode season. It also may be able to pull resources from Original Sin, as season 2 of that show was greenlit, then cancelled as it seemed Showtime wanted to put everything into the more widely-watched and excellently-reviewed Resurrection. Too bad for that team, as they did a great job.

I do not think we’ll have to wait much more than a year for Dexter: Resurrection season 2, if all goes well. Fingers crossed that we can get a rare treat in the streaming era that’s addicted to 2+ year gaps.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
