ENTRY and Midnight Foundation launch integration to unite privacy and compliance in institutional DeFi

The integration combines zero-knowledge selective disclosure with compliance-native screening to help institutions meet MiCA and FATF requirements without exposing sensitive data.

Toronto, Canada – [28 October 2025] — ENTRY, the compliance-native infrastructure bridging institutions and decentralized finance, today announced a strategic partnership with the Midnight Foundation, the organization dedicated to advancing the development and adoption of Midnight, a fourth-generation blockchain redefining on-chain privacy, to accelerate privacy-preserving, compliance-ready real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and on-chain services. The collaboration combines ENTRY’s Asset1 Screening technology with Midnight’s zero-knowledge selective-disclosure architecture, enabling institutions and platforms to meet regulatory requirements such as KYC, AML, and sanctions screening without exposing sensitive user or commercial data.

Rodney Prescott, CEO of ENTRY, said:

“Institutions need a practical path to on-chain finance that doesn’t force a choice between privacy and regulation. By combining ENTRY’s asset screening with Midnight’s selective-disclosure architecture, we can help issuers and platforms meet real compliance obligations while protecting sensitive data. This is how RWA tokenization scales responsibly.”

As part of the integration, ENTRY and Midnight Foundation are introducing a privacy-ready RWA playbook, reference implementations, and cohort-based onboarding, designed to help teams transition from pilot to production. The alignment combines Midnight’s zero-knowledge, programmable smart contracts with ENTRY’s compliance-centric infrastructure and experience in supporting institutional requirements.

The announcement comes as enterprises move beyond POCs and seek production architectures that prove compliance without exposing sensitive information. Teams operating in MiCA/FATF-aligned markets face a dual mandate: demonstrate rigorous KYC/AML, sanctions, and provenance controls while preserving user and commercial confidentiality.

The combined technologies of Midnight and ENTRY will enable developers to shield data and metadata while disclosing only what’s necessary for policy or regulatory review. In the context of both MiCA and FATF, the ENTRY-Midnight collaboration reveals exactly what’s required for policy/regulation, cryptographically proving the rest, and retaining attestations that support audit and governance.

Fahmi Syed, President of Midnight Foundation, said:

“Financial solutions cannot scale on-chain until privacy and compliance compliment each other. Midnight was built to bring rational privacy to blockchain, protecting sensitive data for users and businesses whilst supporting compliant solutions through programmable disclosure. ENTRY Foundation’s focus on real screening and education  provides the operational layer that makes this possible—connecting privacy-preserving technology to the compliance standards institutional markets require.”

Joint educational content will guide issuers, platforms, custodians, and developers on building privacy-preserving RWA and identity workflows on Midnight, featuring ENTRY-grade screening. Materials will include solution architectures, policy checklists, reference code, and templates for audit trails and attestations. The result? Teams will now be able to meet audit and policy requirements without exposing underlying personal or commercial data — all while reducing integration risk and preserving the flexibility to adapt to local requirements.

The organizations will also publish reference integrations that demonstrate how to implement role-based access, selective disclosure for identity and asset data, and secure delegation for institutional clients.
