“Golden,” the hugely successful hit song from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters animated musical film, is once again the biggest track in the world. The upbeat, catchy cut has ranked among the most consumed singles around the planet for months now, and it regularly holds court at No. 1 on both of Billboard’s global rosters.

The tune recently regained control over the tallies from Taylor Swift’s latest smash, and every time the chart company refreshes the rankings and “Golden” is named the winner once more, it further establishes itself as one of the longest-running rulers of all time.

How Many Weeks Has “Golden” Spent at No. 1 on Billboard’s Global Charts?

As of this frame, “Golden” has led both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. for 15 nonconsecutive weeks. The first of those two rosters ranks the most popular songs all around planet Earth, while the latter operates in almost the same manner, although streams and sales originating specifically from America are not included in its methodology, as it is meant to show what the rest of humanity is listening to.

“Golden” Ties “As It Was” by Harry Styles

“Golden,” which is credited to both the fictional girl group Huntr/x as well as three singers — Rei Ami, Audrey Nuna and Ejae — ties for the third-longest reign on the Billboard Global 200. The K-pop-leaning blockbuster is matched with “As It Was” by Harry Styles, which stood out as the most successful cut ever for a short time, as it managed its 15 turns in the spotlight in 2022.

“Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters Passes Mariah Carey – For Now

Over on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., Huntr/x’s “Golden” stands alone with 15 stints at No. 1. Last week, it was matched with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” but now it stands alone as the third-longest-running leader ever… though Carey’s holiday classic is sure to catch up very soon.

What Are the Longest-Running No. 1s on the Billboard Global 200?

On the Billboard Global 200, Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” ranks as the song with the most weeks at No. 1. It beats Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars by just one frame, as “Die With a Smile” ruled for 18 stints, while the holiday staple is up to 19 — a figure that will likely improve soon. “Golden” may sit at No. 1 again next week, but it will have to hold on for several more frames before it can advance again on this all-time roster.

“Die With a Smile” is also the second-longest-running leader on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., with 17 weeks at No. 1 on that roster. A different track claims the most impressive run, as “Apt.” by Blackpink star Rosé and Mars — who impressively scores the two biggest hits ever — dominated for 19 periods between 2024 and 2025.

When Did “Golden” First Hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Global Charts?

“Golden” reached No. 1 on both worldwide rosters back in July. Since then, only two tracks have managed to supplant the KPop Demon Hunters smash, and only for very short breaks.

The first to do so was “Jump” from fellow K-pop act Blackpink. That comeback single launched in first place just one week after “Golden” began its historic reign and then quickly stepped aside. In mid-October, Taylor Swift scored another leader with “The Fate of Ophelia,” the lead smash from her blockbuster album The Life of a Showgirl. It earned its first two turns in the penthouse, and for the last three frames has held in the runner-up spot behind “Golden.”

The opposite is true when looking specifically at the United States. “Golden” has been attempting a return to the Hot 100’s throne, but for five weeks in a row it has been blocked by “The Fate of Ophelia.” The first week that Swift’s tune launched on the ranking, she occupied the entirety of the top 10 — a feat that only she has managed, and more than once.

Since then, many of the tracks from The Life of a Showgirl have begun falling, but nothing has bested “The Fate of Ophelia,” at least not yet. “Golden” sits at No. 2 on the tally while simultaneously commanding the Streaming Songs and Pop Airplay charts.

Born Again’ Season 3 Way Before Season 2

Born Again’ Season 3 Way Before Season 2

The post Born Again’ Season 3 Way Before Season 2 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Daredevil Born Again Marvel MCU fans were thrilled that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil was being brought back to life after his unceremonious execution after his show’s Netflix run, where everything was transitioning to Disney Plus. Born Again felt like a moment that would never come, and when it did, it mostly satisfied fans, with few exceptions. Now, according to a new IGN interview with head of TV Brad Winderbaum, Marvel has greenlit Daredevil: Born Again for season 3, well before season 2 airs in March 2026. Originally, the plan was an 18-episode run across two seasons, but Marvel seems to have much larger plans for Matt Murdoch and his series. This is a combination of two things. First, the positive fan reception to season 1. While there were some hiccups here, where the middle of the season had parts of the previously canned version of the show they had to work around, the first and last few episodes were incredible, and that’s the team making all of season 2 and presumably season 3 going forward. So, that’s great news. Second, this is a move by Marvel to reduce the cost of its endless supply of Disney Plus shows by focusing on more “street level” content. MCU series have been all over the place in terms of their focus and their budgets, culminating in the ridiculous $212 million budget for six episodes of the VFX-heavy Secret Invasion, one of the worst things Marvel has ever produced. Now? The name of the game is lower costs. Agatha All Along was a prime example of this, one of the MCU’s cheapest projects ever but one of its best shows. Disney is investing deeper into the “Daredevil-verse” here, as season 2 of Born Again features Jessica Jones, who might be destined to return for her…
