XRP ETF Approved! Cboe Clears 21Shares TOXR for Launch

2025/12/11 21:41

XRP trades near $2 after dropping 7.63% in the last 7 days and falling 18.17% in the last 30 days, as of writing. Traders watch the chart closely as the market prepares for a major development that could alter the flow of demand.

The approval of the 21Shares XRP ETF arrives at a moment when the asset struggles inside a multi-week downtrend. Many traders now wonder whether this new product can shift momentum or whether XRP will continue to move sideways while the broader market waits for a strong trigger.

Cboe Approves 21Shares XRP ETF Under ‘TOXR’

Cboe BZX Exchange confirms the approval of the 21Shares XRP ETF, clearing the product for listing once the SEC issues the final notice of effectiveness. The ETF will trade under ticker TOXR and track the CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate – New York Variant. The fund charges a 0.3% sponsor fee, calculated daily and paid weekly in XRP. The approval adds yet another issuer to the expanding field of XRP exchange-traded products, which now grows faster than any other altcoin category this year.

Ripple Markets holds all 10 million shares of the trust and funds the structure with 100 million XRP valued at about $226 million. This position shows the scale of backing behind the product and offers clarity on the initial size of the vehicle as it enters the market. The ETF will custody its assets with Coinbase Custody, Anchorage Digital Bank, and BitGo Trust Company, which gives the structure a mix of large, regulated custodians.

ETF Launch Expected Within Days

The product can launch as early as December 11 or 12, depending on the timing of the final SEC notice. This timeline aligns with the rapid growth of XRP ETFs this quarter. Issuers such as Rex Osprey, Canary Capital, Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, and Grayscale already operate XRP funds, while Volatility Shares and ProShares run futures-based products.

The arrival of 21Shares adds another major player to a list that continues to grow as institutions show interest in asset-backed exposure.

This surge in ETF activity raises questions about the next stage of demand. Many traders ask when this momentum might shift XRP’s price trend or whether the market needs stronger catalysts before sentiment turns. The answer may come as liquidity deepens across traditional trading channels once TOXR begins trading.

XRP ETFs Record 18 Days of Inflows

XRP ETFs mark an 18-day streak of net inflows, according to Sosovalue. The streak began on November 14th and continues through the latest reporting period. Funds from Canary Capital, Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, and Grayscale generate most of these inflows, which now total close to $1 billion. This pace places XRP among the fastest-growing ETF classes for any non-Bitcoin asset. The inflow trend signals sustained interest from traders who prefer regulated products over spot exchanges.

The rise in inflows also highlights a shift in how investors engage with XRP. Many now choose ETF channels due to custody protections, simple access, and traditional brokerage connectivity. This change creates a new distribution path for XRP exposure that did not exist in previous market cycles. It also raises the question of how long this inflow streak can continue if market volatility increases.

Market Awaits Breakout Signal

XRP traders watch $2.20 as the level that may confirm renewed strength. A clean move above that zone could unlock stronger upside reactions, while a drop below $2.00 may test deeper support. The next trigger may arrive once TOXR begins trading, since ETF launches often bring sudden liquidity spikes. Traders now wait for the moment when the price breaks the range and sets the next direction.

The post Patriots Hall Of Famer Julian Edelman Is A Rising Media Star At FOX Sports appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Julian Edelman has a burgeoning media career, including as an analyst on FOX NFL Kickoff. Lily Hernandez The day before the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Philadelphia Eagles, Julian Edelman was in a reflective mood. The last weekend he had spent in Arrowhead Stadium was when he helped the New England Patriots defeat the Chiefs in overtime to advance to the Patriots’ last Super Bowl. “I was definitely getting some flashbacks,” Edelman exclusively shared. “It’s definitely a special place to come. Not because we won (but) because we knew how hard it was to win here. This place rocks. Arrowhead is one of the most electric opponent stadiums that we played in. It was one of the greatest to be the villain.” Edelman had seven catches and 96 yards in that 37-31 overtime win against the Chiefs, paving the way for Super Bowl LIII, a game in which he won Super Bowl MVP. That may have been the apex of his playing career, which earned him induction into the Patriots’ Hall of Fame this weekend, but his post-NFL media career is ascending. He’s not only an analyst on FOX NFL Kickoff, the show that precedes FOX NFL Sunday, but also has his own production company and hosts two weekly podcasts. “It kind of (just) happened,” Edelman said. “My goal is really to just be around football in some form or fashion.” Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots celebrates after scoring in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl XLIX.
