PANews reported on December 12th, citing DL News, that the Belarusian Ministry of Information has blocked access to at least three major cryptocurrency exchanges: Bybit, Bitget, and OKX, without explaining the reasons. When Belarusian users attempt to access these websites, a message appears: "Access to this information resource is restricted according to a decision of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus. This is done in accordance with the Law on Mass Media." A search of the Belarusian General Directorate for Telecommunications Regulation's "restricted access" database shows that all three exchanges were blacklisted by the ministry on December 10th. Cryptocurrency exchanges such as KuCoin and Binance are not currently on the blacklist.
