The 2021 Bull Run Had DeFi, 2026 Has Banking – Why Digitap ($TAP) is the Best Buy Now

Crypto rarely rewards patience in the obvious moments. It rewards pattern recognition before the crowd connects the dots. In 2021, that pattern was clear in hindsight.  DeFi appeared quietly, then suddenly dominated the entire market. Tokens with lending, swapping, and yield narratives moved first. By the time DeFi became common knowledge, the biggest gains were already gone.

Today, the market sits in another familiar phase. Fear remains high. Liquidity stays tight. Most traders watch charts, waiting for a signal that never seems to come. Yet history shows that the next cycle theme always forms during these exact conditions. This time, the signal does not come from DeFi. It comes from banking.

Among this shift, Digitap ($TAP) emerges as a rare crypto presale already built for how money actually moves. This crypto-based omni-bank lets users hold, move, and spend both crypto and fiat inside one live app. That setup positions Digitap as the best crypto to buy now, before the pattern becomes obvious again.

How DeFi Turned Early Belief Into Massive Gains in 2021

In 2021, DeFi offered something new. It promised open finance without banks. Users could lend, borrow, trade, and earn rewards directly on-chain. Total value locked grew fast. New tokens were launched every week. Many had no working product at the start. Still, the idea alone pulled in capital.

The pattern was clear. First came a new concept. Then came early users. After that came rapid growth in token prices. Media attention arrived late. The winners shared similar traits. They launched early. They matched the market mood. They solved a problem people cared about at that time.

The Market Today: A Different Setup, a Familiar Rhyme

The current market does not reward risk in the same way. Investors act carefully. Capital looks for safety, control, and real use. DeFi still exists, but it no longer drives excitement on its own. Recent data shows that the total DeFi market value has remained well below its 2021 peak, signaling a mature and selective market rather than a return to broad speculative cycles.

Banking now moves into the center. Crypto users want tools that work in daily life. Cards, accounts, stable settlement, and simple access matter more than complex yield models. This shift reflects broader behavior. During uncertain times, markets favor utility over theory, which reshapes how investors search for an altcoin to buy.

Where Digitap Fits Into the Next Crypto Chapter

Digitap enters the market with a clear role. It is the world’s first omni-bank. The app combines crypto and fiat in one place. Users can hold assets, send funds, and spend through a card. The platform supports real payments, not just trading.

The Digitap app is already live on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Users can sign up and use core features today. A Visa-linked card allows spending online and in stores. That matters in a market that values usability. Digitap also supports a no-KYC wallet option. This offers flexibility and privacy for users who prefer control.

This structure fits the current cycle. Banking tokens aim to serve daily needs. They reduce friction. They bring crypto closer to normal money use. As an altcoin to buy, Digitap matches what the market looks for now. It does not rely on future promises alone. It already operates.

That difference matters for a crypto presale. Many presales sell ideas. Digitap sells access to a working system.

Signals Point to Digitap as the Best Crypto to Buy For 2026

Digitap uses a deflationary model. Half of platform profits go toward buybacks and burns. This reduces supply over time. Fixed supply adds another layer of control. No new tokens appear later.

Staking adds income during quiet markets. During the presale, $TAP offers staking rewards of up to 124% APR. After launch, staking continues with rates that reach up to 100% APR. This structure favors patience and long-term holding rather than short-term trading.

The numbers also tell a story. Stage 1 priced $TAP at $0.0125. The current crypto presale price sits at $0.0383. The next increase moves it to $0.0399. That rise reflects steady demand. The targeted launch price stands at $0.14. To date the presale has raised $2.8 million. Over 156 million tokens have been sold. These figures suggest early belief during a cautious market. That pattern mirrors earlier cycles. Early confidence forms first. Broader attention follows later. For those tracking the best crypto to buy now, this window often matters most.

Every Cycle Has One Winning Theme – In 2026, That Theme Is Banking

Crypto cycles never repeat in the same shape. They repeat in structure. In 2021, DeFi filled the role of innovation and belief. In 2026, banking and real finance tools will take that role. Digitap aligns with this shift.

The moment matters because it comes before noise returns. Banking tokens still trade under the radar. Digitap already operates and grows during low sentiment. That combination often defines early winners.

As the market moves toward the next phase, attention will follow function. Watching user growth, app usage, and token burns will signal progress. History suggests that early positioning often defines outcomes. For this cycle, Digitap stands as a strong crypto presale and an altcoin to buy that fits the pattern.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…
