PANews reported on January 12th that Bitmine purchased 24,266 ETH (approximately $75.37 million) last week, bringing its total holdings to 4,167,768 ETH (approximately $12.9 billion), representing 3.45% of the total network supply. Of this, 1,256,083 ETH are staked. The MAVAN staking network is expected to launch in Q1 2026. The company will hold a shareholder meeting in Las Vegas on January 15th to propose increasing authorized shares to support its "5% alchemy" strategy of continuously increasing ETH holdings. Bitmine is the world's largest holder of ETH.
