Strategy acquires $1.2B in Bitcoin at $91,500

Strategy said it added 13,627 Bitcoin to its treasury for approximately $1.2 billion between January 5 and January 11, paying an average of around $91,500 per coin. The move pushed its total holdings to 687,410 Bitcoin, worth about $62 billion.

According to an SEC filing dated today, Strategy funded the acquisition through its at-the-market offering program, selling shares of its STRC preferred stock and MSTR Class A common stock. These sales generated approximately $1.2 billion in net proceeds, including $119 million from STRC stock and $1.1 billion from MSTR stock sales during the same period.

The company maintains significant capacity for future offerings, with approximately $10.3 billion available for MSTR stock issuance and $20.3 billion for STRK preferred stock under its ATM program.
