Why Digitap ($TAP) Beats $1.49 SUI With Solana Network Integration And 250% Growth

2026/01/23 00:01

That’s why $TAP increasingly looks like a better altcoin to buy this year, and searching for high-growth, high-potential utility plays is the leading story in January 2026.

Everyone knows that Layer 1 valuations are being squeezed and that capital is rotating, especially towards fintech-esque altcoins that hide crypto rails behind real consumer products. Users want products that will drive adoption, and that’s how the Digitap crypto presale raised more than $4.3 million in record time.

$TAP is already up 250% since opening its presale, the global banking app just integrated the Solana network for deposits, and the market is starting to take $TAP very seriously. Here’s what investors should know.

Sui (SUI): The Downfall of General-Purpose Layer 1s

Sui is a high-performance Layer 1 designed for fast transactions and consumer-scale applications. It’s part of the ‘new’ generation of layer 1s. But the market isn’t the same beast as 2021, and the chart tells the whole story. Since early 2025, SUI has been in a prolonged downtrend and is no longer a top altcoin to buy.

Infrastructure gets commoditized fast, and the biggest problem the market has with layer 1s currently is that they are all overvalued based on current adoption metrics. Practically all layer 1s enjoy a massive premium based on optimistic growth expectations, and in 2026, the market is readjusting its expectations.

That’s why layer 1s are getting rerated across the board. They are not bad technology, but the market is only paying for distribution, value accrual, and real-world usage. This trend is expected to continue, helping explain why $TAP has the potential to massively outpace SUI this year.

Digitap ($TAP): The Leading Banking Trade of 2026

Digitap is perfectly positioned for 2026. It has already released its omni-banking app that anyone can download on iOS and Android today. It delivers a new standard. Modern finance has always been banking vs crypto. But Digitap’s app is one blended experience where fiat and crypto live together, and value moves anywhere in real time.

In simple terms, Digitap is designed for a digital-first world where money has to be fast, borderless, and simple. The UX stays neobank-familiar, while the rails underneath deliver crypto speed and stablecoin settlement. Multi-rail settlement is the big upgrade.

Thanks to Digitap’s banking partners and multi-rail design, transactions can be executed on traditional banking rails or via blockchains, depending on what is faster when the user presses send. The user experience stays familiar, but the experience gets better. A classic example is that blockchain integration allows Digitap to process cross-border transactions for less than 1% miles better than the remittance average of 6.4%.

This simple, sleek design is why Digitap ranks as a leading altcoin to buy and is outcompeting overvalued layer 1s right now. And this is what the next leg of crypto’s growth looks like. Apps that people use daily because the experience is better. Digitap is leading this new generation of fintech-esque altcoins.

Digitap Integrates Solana Network

Digitap has recently integrated the Solana network, and deposits are now live. A clean sign that $TAP is actively upgrading its rails to improve speed and user experience. And Solana’s lightning-fast settlement is a perfect addition to Digitap.

This rapid iteration explains why the $TAP is up 250% since its presale opened. The early success this crypto presale has enjoyed is driven by the fact that the app is already live, which means the market is treating it more like a product rollout than a fundraising event.

$TAP is currently priced at $0.0439, opening up a potential 3X move for anyone who buys today, given the confirmed listing price of $0.14. And given that $TAP is about to enter its adoption phase, the upside potential looks set to massively outshine that of SUI.

Why Digitap Beats SUI as Best Crypto to Buy Now: Rotation From Chains to Fintech Products

SUI is a fast layer 1, but it’s not the best trade. 2026 is all about applications, not infrastructure, and the next era of crypto growth comes from projects that hide the crypto rails.

Digitap is a money app designed for the current digital-first era. It aims to make stablecoin settlement and crypto speed feel like everyday banking. That gives it a much bigger TAM than another generic layer 1—it targets real-world behavior.

Even better is $TAP’s token design. It fuels staking programs and unlocks VIP rewards, and Digitap allocates 50% of its profits to token burns and staking rewards. This new design is a sign that the market is evolving and investors want value capture.

Up more than 250% since launch, primed for potential 3X returns before listing, and boasting thousands of users already, it is no surprise $TAP ranks among the best cryptos to buy now.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
