Robinhood has launched a public testnet for its Robinhood Chain.

PANews reported on February 11th that Robinhood, the US online trading platform, has officially launched the public testnet for its proprietary blockchain, Robinhood Chain. This blockchain is an Ethereum Layer 2 network built on Arbitrum technology. Johann Kerbrat, Senior Vice President of Crypto at Robinhood, stated that this testnet will lay the foundation for building an ecosystem that defines the future of real-world asset tokenization and will help developers access decentralized finance liquidity within the Ethereum ecosystem. The testnet will allow developers to experiment, identify issues, and improve network stability in preparation for the mainnet launch. Robinhood stated that in the coming months, developers can use "testnet-only assets" (including stock tokens) for integration testing on the testnet and will be able to directly interact with the Robinhood wallet.
