Scream 7 introduces Isabel May to the slasher franchise as Tatum, the 17-year-old daughter of Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott. What else has May starred in?
Opening in theaters nationwide on Friday, Scream 7 finds the Ghostface killer targeting Tatum since she’s the same age that her mother was when the knife-wielding murderer tried to kill Sidney during the events of the original Scream movie in 1996.
Directed by the original film’s screenwriter, Kevin Williamson, Scream 7 also stars Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Roger L. Jackson, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Mckenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Mark Consuelos, Tim Simons, Matthew Lillard and Joel McHale.
Born Nov. 21, 2000, in Santa Monica, Calif., May found success with her debut role in the Netflix sitcom, Alexa & Katie, in 2018. While she was working on the series, May also starred in the 2019 indie horror thriller Let’s Scare Julie, the 2022 psychological thriller Run Hide Fight and the 2022 romantic comedy I Want You Back.
In 2021, May landed a role in what became a hit Taylor Sheridan drama, one of the projects she’s starred in that explains whey she looks so familiar to audiences of Scream 7.

‘Alexa & Katie’ (2018-2020)
Isabel May stars as Katie Cooper, the best friend of Alexa Mendoza (Paris Berelc) in the sitcom Alexa & Katie. The series examines the unbreakable bond between the pair of high school teens as Alexa undergoes treatment for cancer. The series ran for three seasons on Netflix.
‘Young Sheldon’ (2018-2019)
Isabel May plays the recurring role of Veronica Duncan over the nine episodes in Seasons 2 and 3 of Young Sheldon. The sitcom, of course, is the prequel series about The Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) in his younger years, and stars Iain Armitage as the title character.
Veronica is introduced in the episode Seven Deadly Sins and a Small Carl Sagan in 2018. Veronica is one of students Sheldon tutors who eventually seeks to reform herself and change her rebellious ways.

Isabel May stars as Elsa Dutton — the resilient teen daughter of James Dutton (Tim McGraw) and Margaret Dutton (Faith Hill) — in the first Yellowstone prequel series from Taylor Sheridan.
A post-Civil War tale, 1883 was followed up by another Yellowstone prequel, 1923, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford. May’s Elsa Dutton only provides the narration for the series.
Scream 7 opens in theaters nationwide on Friday.
