PANews reported on March 9th that, according to an official announcement from Binance, starting from 11:00 AM (UTC+8) on March 9th, 2026, if Binance detects that referrals are being used to attract or guide new users to register through the following illegal advertising methods, Binance will automatically cancel all commissions for new users who register through these types of promotional channels:
- 1. Directing users to websites or social media accounts that mimic Binance, including but not limited to: pages resembling the Binance website, excessive use of the Binance logo and/or related content; accounts impersonating Binance's official social media accounts; redirecting users from URLs similar to the Binance website domain; or redirecting users from any other unofficial third-party URLs;
- 2. Advertising through search engines such as Google and Bing, or unauthorized third-party websites. To ensure transparency, details of expired rebates will be displayed in the rebate panel.
Binance will continue to monitor and identify such behavior. Once a violation is confirmed, the referring account will be disqualified from earning all commissions through these prohibited methods.
