Sean Duffy's daughter: Single women 'vote poorly' without 'the security of a male'

Evita Duffy, the daughter of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, argued that unmarried women "vote very, very poorly" without "the security of a male."

During a Wednesday interview on Real America's Voice, Evita Duffy reacted to polling that showed President Donald Trump had dropped 20 points among men since the 2024 election.

The Cabinet member's daughter chose to reframe the problem of one of married vs. unmarried voters.

"For an unmarried woman, what are you looking for in your life most of all? What is missing? It's the security of a male," she insisted. "And so young women and unmarried women especially are saying, looking at the Democratic Party, which is entirely based off of offering free things and social programs, and they say, that's my party. That's what I want to go towards. That's what I gravitate to. And so they vote very, very poorly."

As for men, Evita Duffy blamed the Trump administration for starting a war in Iran.

"There's a narrative that there's going to be a 20-year forever war," she said. "And there's also a narrative that President Trump is going to bring back the draft."

"And so that is deeply troubling if you're a 22-year-old, 23-year-old man getting ready to go to the polls. Oh, if I vote for a Republican, I'm voting to go to war overseas. And the White House hasn't done enough to actually correct the record on that and dispel those fears."
