'What the?' Morning Mika tongue-tied as MS NOW runs bizarre Trump superclip

A superclip of Donald Trump in the Oval Office jumping from topic to topic — some of them inappropriate — while surrounded by children, drew amused and incredulous looks from the co-hosts of “Morning Joe” on Wednesday morning.

It left co-host Mika Brzezinski sputtering and almost speechless.

In the clip, the president is heard rambling about being gifted a second-hand Nobel Prize, talking about a “rigged election,” and then remarking, “we had that group of people that ran this country with their open borders, letting anybody come in from the Congo, from countries all over the world; They came in from prisons and mental institutions.”

At another point he told the kids about a woman in Iran being shot in the forehead (”right there”), and the later digressed to stating, “You have transgender mutilization. Don't listen to this, kids, of your children, of your children, transgender mutilization of your children for everyone” while he touched a boy standing next to him.

That prompted Brzezinski to put her hand on her head and to repeat, “What the…?”, “What the …?” as a bemused Joe Scarborough remarked, “It's, you know, I guess, bedtime reading — what those children want. Those children want to hear about the Congo, people coming in. We get ‘Mommy, daddy, we're going to see the president today and he's going to talk to us, hopefully about the Congo and transgender mutilization.’”

“Anyway, so that is that,” he added as the panel sat looking stunned.
