KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 — Eight people were injured in a three‑vehicle collision at Kilometre 94 of the southbound North–South Expressway this morning.
According to Bernama, incident involved a lorry, a Perodua Myvi and a Toyota Noah, according to Guar Chempedak Fire and Rescue Station chief Mohd Happyzam Abd Rasid, who confirmed the details in a statement.
He said firefighters received the emergency call at 8.56am and found two men in the lorry, two women in the Myvi, and a man and three women in the Toyota Noah.
“The Myvi driver was trapped in the seat and suffered semi‑critical injuries to the head, shoulder and leg, while the other victims sustained minor wounds,” he said.
Mohd Happyzam said all injured individuals were sent to Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital, and the operation concluded at 10.05am after cleanup work at the crash site.
