XRP Faces IPO Delay While Breakout PayFi Gem Delivers Triple Gains For Traders

XRP news took a sharp turn this week as Ripple confirmed there are no immediate plans for an IPO, cooling speculation across the market. XRP price has held firm despite the delay, supported by steady institutional flows.

At the same time, traders are shifting attention toward a breakout PayFi gem delivering triple gains, signaling where momentum may be heading in 2026.

XRP News Confirms No Rush Toward Public Markets

XRP news took a familiar turn this week as Ripple once again dismissed IPO speculation. President Monica Long made it clear that going public is not a priority. Ripple has the capital, the licenses, and the flexibility it needs without stock market pressure. That stance has not shaken XRP price confidence so far.

XRP price today sits near $2.12 after a short-term pullback of roughly 7%. The dip mirrors a wider market pause rather than any Ripple-specific setback. Despite this move, XRP is currently performing more than 25% higher than it was at the beginning of the year. This makes it one of the best-performing large-caps of 2026 to date.

Institutional flows are doing much of the heavy lifting. US spot XRP ETFs have now pulled in over $1.3 billion since launching in late 2025. Outflows remain limited, and several weeks of consistent inflows have helped stabilize the XRP price during broader volatility. For many analysts, this ETF demand is a key pillar in any XRP price prediction moving forward.

Whale activity has also picked up, hinting at near-term volatility. Still, Ripple news shows the company playing a long game. Ripple spent nearly $4 billion on acquisitions in 2025, expanding payments, custody, and stablecoin infrastructure. That strategy ties directly to XRP usage rather than hype cycles.

For now, Ripple price prediction narratives are shaped less by IPO dreams and more by real adoption, ETF support, and steady institutional positioning.

PayFi Adoption Pushes Remittix Into The Spotlight

As XRP news continues to circle delayed IPO plans and slow-moving catalysts, traders are already rotating into faster-moving opportunities. One name keeps coming up. Remittix (RTX).

While XRP holders wait for long-term narratives to play out, Remittix is delivering momentum right now through a clear PayFi use case and an expanding product rollout. That contrast is why many now see RTX as the best crypto to buy now for short- to mid-term positioning.

Remittix is not competing with XRP on headlines. It is competing on execution. The platform focuses on instant crypto-to-fiat payments, allowing users to send digital assets and have them arrive as local currency in bank accounts. No complex routing. No hidden fees. No waiting days for settlement. That simplicity matters, especially for freelancers, businesses, and users in underbanked regions.

What sets Remittix apart is that the product already exists. The wallet is live on the App Store. Users can store, send, and manage assets today, with full crypto-to-fiat functionality scheduled to go live on February 9, 2026. That timeline gives traders a clear catalyst window, not vague promises.

Why Remittix Is Pulling Trader Attention

  • Full PayFi stack built for real crypto-to-fiat payments
  • CertiK-audited smart contracts and a fully verified team
  • Confirmed CEX listings, including BitMart, with more lined up
  • Direct exposure to the trillion global payments market

Momentum is also coming from incentives. Remittix offers a referral program that pays 15% in USDT for every successful referral, claimable daily through the dashboard. There is also a limited 200% bonus running now, capped at 5 million tokens, with demand moving fast.

While XRP faces delays and long timelines, Remittix is delivering structure, liquidity events, and product adoption. That is why many traders see RTX as the PayFi breakout riding ahead of the curve.

FAQs

  • Is Now A Good Time To Invest In Crypto?

Timing in crypto depends on your goals and your patience. Before the next big trend begins, the markets tend to shift sideways. Those quiet periods can be useful for spotting strong projects early. Many investors use this phase to focus on coins with real users, steady development, and products people actually need, instead of chasing fast pumps.

  • How Risky Are New Crypto Tokens?

New tokens do come with risk. However, not all of them are pure gambles. Projects that publish audits, show real teams, and ship working products tend to be more reliable. Risk drops further when there is visible user activity and clear updates. Empty hype usually fades fast.

  • Which Cryptocurrencies Have The Most Growth Potential?

The strongest growth usually comes from utility, not noise. Memes and tokens. Memes and meme-driven assets are usually outlived by more stable tokens, based on payment, infrastructure, and crypto-to-fiat tools. Early launches, audits, and planned launches are indications that many investors consider searching high high-potential crypto.

WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 13: Participants hold signs in support of TikTok outside the U.S. Capitol Building on March 13, 2024 in Washington, DC. (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images) Getty Images From President Trump’s first ban attempt to a near-blackout earlier this year, TikTok’s five-year roller coaster ride looks like it’s finally slowing down now that Trump has unveiled a deal framework to keep the ByteDance app alive in the U.S. A look back at the saga around TikTok starting in 2020, however, shows just how close the app came to being shut out of the US – how it narrowly averted a ban and forced sale that found rare bipartisan backing in Washington. Recapping TikTok’s dramatic five-year battle When I interviewed Brendan Carr back in 2022, for example, the future FCC chairman was already certain at that point that TikTok’s days were numbered. For a litany of perceived sins — everything from the too-cozy relationship of the app’s parent company with China’s ruling regime to the app’s repeated floating of user privacy — Carr was already convinced, at least during his conversation with me, that: “The tide is going out on TikTok.” It was, in fact, one of the few issues that Washington lawmakers seemed to agree on. Even then-President Biden was on board, having resurrected Trump’s aborted TikTok ban from his first term and signed it into law. “It feels different now than it did two years ago at the end of the Trump administration, when concerns were first raised,” Carr told me then, in August of 2022. “I think, like a lot of things in the Trump era, people sort of picked sides on the issue based on the fact that it was Trump.” One thing led to another, though, and it looked like Carr was probably…
