PANews reported on March 12th that, according to data compiled by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, when USD1 was first airdropped on Binance in January, the mintage of USD1 was $3.1 billion; now it has reached $4.6 billion, an increase of $1.5 billion. Binance's reserve certificates show that $4 billion USD1 are held on Binance. This means that 87% of USD1 is earning interest on Binance.

His response came after Galaxy Digital’s head of DeFi, Michael Marcantonio, called the exit queue length “troubling” on X and compared it to Solana which only needs two days to unstake. He has since deleted the posts. However, Buterin seemingly took a more ideological stance on the subject, describing unstaking from Ethereum as “more like a soldier deciding to quit the army,” adding that staking is more about “taking on a solemn duty to defend the chain.”Read more
