Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi made headlines today regarding a matter related to cryptocurrencies.
Accordingly, the Japanese Prime Minister made headlines due to a memecoin called “SANAE TOKEN.” However, the Japanese Prime Minister denied any connection with the token.
Takaichi, speaking from account X, stated that he had heard that a token called “SANAE TOKEN” had been launched and was being traded, but that he was not aware of it.
Takaichi added that neither he nor the Prime Minister’s Office had ever endorsed the token.
According to the data, the token was launched on the Solana network. According to GMGN, the Solana-based memecoin “SANAE TOKEN” briefly reached a market capitalization of $27.72 million before falling to approximately $7.2 million. The three largest addresses hold approximately 60% of the token supply. The token is currently trading at $0.0071.
