Ripple (XRP) Has Launched a Very Important Feature! Here Are the Details

Cryptocurrency payment company Ripple continues its efforts to develop the XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain.

At this point, XRP Ledger partnered with Boundless, a zero-knowledge infrastructure provider, to enable banks and asset managers to conduct confidential but compliant transactions directly on the network.

According to CoinDesk, Ripple Ledger (XRPL) has announced its integration with Boundless (ZKC), a decentralized Zero Knowledge (ZK) computing marketplace. This integration enables the use of Zero Knowledge (ZK) verification features.

This feature is designed to help financial institutions comply with regulatory requirements and enhance privacy by enabling transactions to be processed without disclosing the details of the transactions on a public blockchain.

Zero-knowledge proofs solve this problem by allowing one party to prove a statement is true without disclosing the underlying data. In practice, with XRPL, this feature means that the validity, proper funding, and compliance of a payment can be verified without publicly disclosing the amount, sender, or recipient. In short, with XRPL, the validity of a transaction or the existence of funds can be verified while certain amounts or participants remain hidden.
