Hecklers derail JD Vance at Turning Point USA event: 'You're killing children!'

Vice President JD Vance was confronted by hecklers at an event in Georgia with the far-right youth group Turning Point USA, who protested his involvement in the Israeli occupation and destruction of Gaza following the Oct. 7 massacre.

Vance, who has worked closely with TPUSA officials as they struggle to continue past the assassination of their founder, Charlie Kirk, last year, did his best to fire back retorts, to the general applause of the right-wing audience. But the hecklers were unyielding.

"If you want to complain about what happened in Gaza," said Vance, "why don't you complain about Joe Biden and the last administration? We're the administration that solved that problem."

"And by the way," added Vance. "Not only was our administration, like, the administration that solved the problem, but the president—"

"You're killing children!" the hecklers shouted over him. "You're bombing children!"

"Excuse me, sir," said Vance. "Right now, right now you, right now you see more humanitarian aid coming into Gaza than it has any time in the past five years."

The hecklers didn't let up. Later in the event, while he was discussing American involvement in defeating the Nazis in the Second World War, someone shouted out, "Jesus doesn't support genocide!"

"I agree, Jesus Christ certainly does not support genocide, whoever yelled that out from the dark," said Vance. "He does not. I think that's pretty easy."

"Why are you committing genocide in Gaza?" the voice shouted back.

"Okay, so here's a guy — let me just say this," said Vance, as the crowd booed the heckler. "This is a guy — no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. First of all, random guy who's shouting, can you let me finish my point?"
