Myseum, Inc. (MYSE) stock doubled in after-hours trading on Wednesday after the company announced it is rebranding as Myseum.AI, Inc.
Myseum Inc., MYSE
The name change became official on April 15, 2026, through a charter amendment filed in Nevada. It did not require a shareholder vote.
The stock continues to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker MYSE. Nothing changes there.
The rebrand is meant to signal a deeper focus on artificial intelligence. Specifically, the company is building privacy-first agentic AI assistants that learn from individual user behavior.
These AI agents are designed to help users organize and manage personal media — photos, videos, and messages — without sending that data to outside AI models or other social platforms.
The company said its AI technology adapts to individual patterns and preferences. It maintains data encryption throughout, so user behavior and content stay private.
This isn’t a new direction so much as a sharper label on an existing one. The company’s two main products — Picture Party and DatChat Messenger — were already built around privacy.
Picture Party is an encrypted photo and video sharing app that works like a private social network for individuals, families, and groups. It’s on iOS and Google Play, with a desktop version coming later this year.
DatChat Messenger extends similar controls to messaging, including timed viewing, message deletion, and screenshot protection. Both apps are built on patented technology.
The company said the AI layer now being developed will sit across both products, learning from user behavior locally rather than feeding data into centralized AI systems.
The 100% after-hours spike is eye-catching, but context matters. Myseum.AI currently has a market cap of just $6.05 million.
Average daily trading volume sits at around 62,000 shares. The technical sentiment signal is listed as a strong sell.
The company was previously known as DatChat Inc. before becoming Myseum, Inc., making this its second rebrand.
The charter amendment filed in Nevada to complete the name change did not require any shareholder approval under Nevada corporate law.
As of April 15, 2026, the company trades as Myseum.AI, Inc. with the ticker MYSE on Nasdaq.
