Dar Global picks contractor for ‘Beverly Hills of Jeddah’

London-listed Dar Global has appointed the main contractor for its flagship Amaya masterplan in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which houses the Trump-branded mixed-use complex. 

Saudi contractor Al Dahlawi Company for Contracting will handle the main construction work on the urban district, which spans 1 million square metres, the developer said in a statement.

The scope of work includes delivering major phases of the project, supporting the development of residential phases, commercial destinations and community amenities.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.

Previously dubbed the “Manhattan masterplan” in September 2025, the developer has now repositioned it as the “Beverly Hills of Jeddah”.

The Amaya site is located along King Abdulaziz Road opposite the Red Sea Mall and the city’s Formula 1 circuit. The master development is divided into four sustainable districts connected by a grand boulevard and a continuous green “Central Park” spine.

This month the global development arm of Saudi Arabia’s Dar Al Arkan secured $250 million in funding to drive expansion and accelerate project construction.

The gross development value of Dar Global’s project portfolio was $19 billion by the end of December, up from $7.5 billion a year earlier, driven by large projects in Saudi Arabia.

In 2025 the developer awarded the main construction contracts for Trump Tower Jeddah; The Astera, with interiors by Aston Martin on Al Marjan Island, the UAE; Marea by Missoni (blocks C and D) in Spain; Great Escape Apartments in Oman; and phase 1 of the Aida development in Oman, comprising 91 villas and 60 townhouses.
