'What the hell is going on?' Trump's makeup-caked, bruised hands leaves observers aghast

At President Donald Trump's speech on Wednesday, one conspicuous detail stood out to a number of internet observers: the bruises on both of his hands that he clumsily tried to hide with a thick layer of makeup.

It's not the first time the nearly 80-year-old president has been spotted with ugly hand bruises — and it triggered a fresh wave of speculation about Trump's physical health.

"That is a lot of bad makeup," wrote tennis star Martina Navratilova.

"Hey guys...umm...what on earth is going on here?" wrote talk show host David Pakman.

"Looks like his dentist appointment was rough," wrote the "Angry Staffer" account — a reference to the fact that Trump went in for a dental appointment over the weekend.

"Every journalist should be asking what the hell is going on with this guy's health that they aren't telling us," wrote the account for The Lincoln Project.

"The U.S. president is visibly deteriorating in front of everyone. Most Americans think he is mentally and physically unfit to serve, yet the mainstream media barely says a word. Why?" wrote the Republicans Against Trump account.
