The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) marked its 60th anniversary on May 31 with the launch of its first celebratory initiative, the ‘Design Gallery on the Move’ campaign. Running from May 29 to June 18, the mobile exhibition brings original Hong Kong brands and design products directly to communities across the city, emphasizing the creativity, diversity, and vibrancy of local design.

Professor Frederick Ma, HKTDC Chairman, highlighted the significance of the campaign, noting that it carries forward the HKTDC’s original vision of ‘going global’ and supporting Hong Kong enterprises. He recalled early efforts such as converting a cargo truck into a mobile exhibition in 1967 to promote Hong Kong products in Africa, and later setting up a temporary showroom outside the Nuremberg International Toy Fair when exhibition space was unavailable. ‘This flexible, resilient and can-do attitude embodies the Lion Rock spirit of Hong Kong,’ Ma said.

The ‘Design Gallery on the Move’ campaign features 36 Hong Kong brands and over 60 products organized into six thematic zones: DG Delights – Hong Kong themed, DG Discover, DG Delights – IP, DG Green, DG Luxe, DG Silver Market & DG Mini. The mobile exhibition will tour 16 locations throughout Hong Kong, allowing residents and visitors to discover the unique stories behind local brands. Products on display can be purchased at Design Gallery’s physical stores or online, with discount coupons available for online shoppers during the campaign period.

To further celebrate the 60th anniversary, Design Gallery is launching promotional offers, including a ’60 items at 40% off’ campaign at its Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre store from May to July, with 20 selected items each month across categories such as gifts, homeware, and fashion accessories. Design Gallery promotes around 400 Hong Kong brands annually through its online and offline platforms.

The HKTDC plans a series of themed initiatives to mark its 60th anniversary, including a ‘Catch the 60th Anniversary-themed Tram’, ‘HKTDC’s 60th Anniversary Celebration – Next 60 Forum’, a cocktail reception, a giveaway during the Hong Kong Book Fair, a community art co-creation event, and the ‘HKTDC 60th Anniversary Exhibition’. These initiatives span exhibitions, community engagement, and industry activities, continuing to support Hong Kong enterprises and celebrate the milestone with the community.

Since its establishment in 1966, the HKTDC has been a statutory body dedicated to promoting, assisting, and developing Hong Kong’s trade. With over 50 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC organizes international exhibitions, conferences, and business missions to create opportunities for SMEs. The ‘Design Gallery on the Move’ campaign exemplifies its ongoing mission to tell the story of Hong Kong brands and design. More details on the activity schedule can be found here, and information on all 60th anniversary activities is available at the HKTDC’s anniversary page.

One Of Frank Sinatra’s Most Famous Albums Is Back In The Spotlight

The post One Of Frank Sinatra’s Most Famous Albums Is Back In The Spotlight appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Frank Sinatra’s The World We Knew returns to the Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums charts, showing continued demand for his timeless music. Frank Sinatra performs on his TV special Frank Sinatra: A Man and his Music Bettmann Archive These days on the Billboard charts, Frank Sinatra’s music can always be found on the jazz-specific rankings. While the art he created when he was still working was pop at the time, and later classified as traditional pop, there is no such list for the latter format in America, and so his throwback projects and cuts appear on jazz lists instead. It’s on those charts where Sinatra rebounds this week, and one of his popular projects returns not to one, but two tallies at the same time, helping him increase the total amount of real estate he owns at the moment. Frank Sinatra’s The World We Knew Returns Sinatra’s The World We Knew is a top performer again, if only on the jazz lists. That set rebounds to No. 15 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart and comes in at No. 20 on the all-encompassing Jazz Albums ranking after not appearing on either roster just last frame. The World We Knew’s All-Time Highs The World We Knew returns close to its all-time peak on both of those rosters. Sinatra’s classic has peaked at No. 11 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart, just missing out on becoming another top 10 for the crooner. The set climbed all the way to No. 15 on the Jazz Albums tally and has now spent just under two months on the rosters. Frank Sinatra’s Album With Classic Hits Sinatra released The World We Knew in the summer of 1967. The title track, which on the album is actually known as “The World We Knew (Over and…
