Tucker Carlson believes Bitcoin was a CIA creation. He is not willing to invest under the fear of a totalitarian system. The conspiracy is several years old.

Tucker Carlson, one of the American political analysts and presenters, has recently expressed doubt about Bitcoin, saying that perhaps it was developed by the CIA. In an interview on a Turning Point USA event, Carlson explained the reason why he would never invest in Bitcoin despite valuing its very important concept of financial freedom.

Carlson made jokes that he had enemies, but emphasized that he would not put money in something that he did not know well.

He indicated the secretive nature of the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, who is said to have billions of unused coins.

Carlson, having a family background connected to the government in Washington, D.C., had felt suspicious that the CIA could be the ones behind the creation of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin’s Mysterious Origins: CIA, Conspiracy & Control

The theory that Bitcoin was a product of the government agencies, the CIA, in particular, is not a new one. It has been spreading for a few years ago but it has been re-gaining momentum due to the comments that Carlson made.

He drew attention to the fact that digital currencies might be used as the means of complete totalitarian governance and that the government could easily punish or limit people by confiscating digital assets.

Carlson admitted that he is a fan of Bitcoin with the prospect of financial self-sufficiency and privacy, and he does not want his transactions to be monitored.

However, he is concerned about the fact that there is a risk that Bitcoin would become the means of unreasonable surveillance and control over people, which is connected to the supposed CIA origin.

He further compared Bitcoin to gold, implying that he will invest more in gold since he does not know who founded it, and the fact that no one knows how Bitcoin came to pass.

The reason why Carlson does not like to invest in Bitcoin is linked to the lack of trust in this unidentified author and the uncomfortable concept of government intervention that hides as an innovator of cryptocurrencies.

The Controversy Around Satoshi Nakamoto’s Identity

Satoshi Nakamoto is one of the most mysterious people in the crypto world, and even after almost 20 years since the establishment of Bitcoin, the identity of the person has not been properly identified.

It is the source of a number of theories, such as the CIA hypothesis by Carlson. Although some would not hinge the founder identity on the matter, Carlson maintains that it is important.

He wonders why it can cost billions of dollars to develop a digital currency and not know who the genius was or the reason as to why it was designed or why.
