For the second week in a row, Taylor Swift claims the biggest song in America as “The Fate of Ophelia” holds atop the ranking of the most consumed tracks in the nation, the Hot 100. “The Fate of Ophelia” debuted at No. 1 last frame at the same time its parent album, The Life of a Showgirl, launched atop the Billboard 200 in spectacular and historic fashion.

Taylor Swift Breaks Her Tie With Michael Jackson

Billboard reports that Swift has now spent 38 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 throughout her career. That total is spread out across more than a dozen chart-toppers, all of which have helped increase her overall record.

With one more turn in charge, Swift breaks out of a tie with Michael Jackson, as just days ago the two were matched with 37 stints in first place apiece.

What Are Taylor Swift’s No. 1s on the Hot 100?

“The Fate of Ophelia” earned Swift her thirteenth No. 1 on the Hot 100. She tied Jackson when the smash debuted, and the two are also on the same level as Drake. All three musicians jointly claim the fifth-most leaders of all time.

Swift has conquered the Hot 100 with all of the following singles, ranked from most weeks at No. 1 to fewest:

  • “Anti-Hero”
  • “Blank Space”
  • “Cruel Summer”
  • “Shake It Off”
  • “Look What You Made Me Do”
  • “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”
  • “The Fate of Ophelia”
  • “Fortnight” with Post Malone
  • “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)”
  • “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)”
  • “Willow”
  • “Cardigan”
  • “Bad Blood” with Kendrick Lamar

Taylor Swift May Soon Beat Bruno Mars

Sitting just one week ahead of Swift on the ranking of artists with the most time ruling the Hot 100 is Bruno Mars. The crooner added to his total earlier this year alongside Lady Gaga, as “Die With a Smile” controlled the tally for several frames across multiple stints.

If “The Fate of Ophelia” can remain exactly where it is for at least one more period — which seems likely — Swift will match Mars. Her latest single has a good shot at helping her push past him to become one of only a handful of musical acts to lead for 40 frames or more.

Who Claims the Most Weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100?

Mariah Carey remains in a distant first place on the list of artists with the most weeks at No. 1 in the history of the Hot 100. The chanteuse is nearing 100 frames at the summit and may become the first artist with triple-digit turns ahead of every other star if her holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” regains control of the Hot 100 later this year. That’s a highly likely fate, since it has happened in each of the past several years.

Rihanna comes next with 60 weeks at No. 1, followed by The Beatles, Drake, Boyz II Men, Usher, and Beyoncé, with 59, 56, 50, 47, and 46 stays atop the Hot 100, respectively.

Michael Jackson Vs. The Jackson 5

It’s worth noting that, according to Billboard, Jackson’s 37 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 do not include any of the songs he released as part of The Jackson 5, the group that propelled him to superstardom at a very young age. The sibling act managed 10 frames at No. 1. If both of those totals are combined, then Jackson is still far ahead of Swift and, in fact, tied with Usher for the same total.

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…
