Nu metal band Limp Bizkit suffered a shocking loss in mid-October when bassist Sam Rivers died unexpectedly. The musician was just 48 and reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.

In the wake of the tragedy, fans of Limp Bizkit have turned to the group’s music for solace, revisiting the songs and albums that made the band a household name more than two decades ago and that have continued to entertain millions ever since. That love is reflected on the Billboard charts this frame, as the group’s “Break Stuff” debuts across multiple rankings, while one of the outfit’s most successful full-lengths returns and reaches a new all-time high.

Limp Bizkit Fans Flock to “Break Stuff” After a Tragedy

In a catalog that includes some of the defining tunes of the nu metal surge that swept America at the turn of the millennium, “Break Stuff” still stands out as perhaps Limp Bizkit’s most famous single. It’s that smash that fans turned to in order to hear Rivers’s work and pay tribute to his legacy.

“Break Stuff” appears on five Billboard charts this frame, debuting on all but one of them.

“Break Stuff” Debuts at No. 1

This frame, “Break Stuff” manages to conquer the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, opening at No. 1 on Billboard’s list of the most consumed tracks classified specifically as hard rock. Limp Bizkit replaces “Caramel” by Sleep Token, which has spent much of 2025 running the show on that genre-specific list. This is the only tally where Limp Bizkit rules, and “Break Stuff” sadly takes on new meaning in the band’s catalog as it hits the top spot.

How Many No. 1 Songs Has Limp Bizkit Charted?

Limp Bizkit collects its second career No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking. Amazingly, while the group has spent decades as one of the foremost names in that subset of the rock scene, it wasn’t until September that the band earned its first chart-topper with “Making Love to Morgan Wallen.” Limp Bizkit’s current single debuted atop the tally earlier this fall and has now spent six frames on the roster, tying as the group’s longest-charting track so far.

“Break Stuff” Debuts on Multiple Billboard Charts

As it leads the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, “Break Stuff” also appears for the very first time on the Hot Alternative Songs, Hot Rock Songs, and the slightly more comprehensive Hot Rock & Alternative Songs lists. The hard rock classic opens at No. 16 on both the Hot Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs rankings, and at No. 18 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.

How Many Hits Has Limp Bizkit Charted?

Limp Bizkit has only scored a few appearances on most of these Billboard charts. “Break Stuff” gives the group its third entry on the Hot Rock Songs tally and fourth on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. Limp Bizkit also appears on the Hot Alternative Songs roster for the very first time, decades into its career.

“Break Stuff” Has Been a Streaming Smash for Years

The same smash continues to perform on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs tally, where it is far from new. “Break Stuff” has now spent 134 weeks as one of the most-played hard rock cuts on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. While it’s a non-mover at No. 13 this frame, the Limp Bizkit favorite previously climbed as high as No. 7.

Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water Hits a New High

As one of Limp Bizkit’s most iconic songs reemerges, so too does perhaps its most successful full-length. The oddly-titled Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water reenters the Top Hard Rock Albums tally at No. 22. In just its second appearance on the list, the album reaches a new high.

“Making Love to Morgan Wallen” Continues to Climb

A few weeks ago, Limp Bizkit kicked off a new era with the humorously-named “Making Love to Morgan Wallen.” The track — which was already gaining momentum before Rivers’s passing — continues to climb. It reaches new peaks on both the Rock & Alternative Airplay and Alternative Airplay charts, holds steady at its all-time high of No. 20 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay ranking, and nearly returns to the upper tier on the Hot Hard Rock Songs list, where it can currently be found at No. 11.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…

Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome

The post Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. USD/CAD gains marginally to near 1.3760 ahead of monetary policy announcements by the Fed and the BoC. Both the Fed and the BoC are expected to lower interest rates. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern. The USD/CAD pair ticks up to near 1.3760 during the late European session on Wednesday. The Loonie pair gains marginally ahead of monetary policy outcomes by the Bank of Canada (BoC) and the Federal Reserve (Fed) during New York trading hours. Both the BoC and the Fed are expected to cut interest rates amid mounting labor market conditions in their respective economies. Inflationary pressures in the Canadian economy have cooled down, emerging as another reason behind the BoC’s dovish expectations. However, the Fed is expected to start the monetary-easing campaign despite the United States (US) inflation remaining higher. Investors will closely monitor press conferences from both Fed Chair Jerome Powell and BoC Governor Tiff Macklem to get cues about whether there will be more interest rate cuts in the remainder of the year. According to analysts from Barclays, the Fed’s latest median projections for interest rates are likely to call for three interest rate cuts by 2025. Ahead of the Fed’s monetary policy, the US Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the Greenback’s value against six major currencies, holds onto Tuesday’s losses near 96.60. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern, which indicates a bearish reversal. The neckline of the above-mentioned chart pattern is plotted near 1.3715. The near-term trend of the pair remains bearish as it stays below the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which trades around 1.3800. The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) slides to near 40.00. A fresh bearish momentum would emerge if the RSI falls below that level. Going forward, the asset could slide towards the round level of…
