IOTA Ambassador Program Levels Up: Earn $IOTA with GiveRep’s New Automated Rewards

  • The IOTA Foundation has announced that its Ambassador Program is transitioning from Discord-based coordination to GiveRep.
  • There will be perks for staking with the GiveRep validator, like extra reputation points and an influencer badge for those who want deeper involvement.

The IOTA Ambassador Program is an initiative designed to reward and connect creators, builders, and community members who help amplify IOTA’s network, whether through social media posts, event hosting, content creation, or simply raising awareness.

Yesterday, the IOTA Foundation announced that the Ambassador Program has migrated to GiveRep, a SocialFi platform built on the SUI blockchain, designed to transform social-media engagement, especially on X, into measurable, on-chain reputation points known as REP.

This migration introduces automated and transparent tracking, complete with real-time dashboards and data-driven reward mechanisms, replacing the manual systems of the past.

The previous iteration of the Ambassador Program had built a strong, loyal community of long-time supporters. But it had limitations; it mainly attracted existing IOTA holders, making it less accessible to newcomers or creators outside the core community.

Coordination was manual, relying on Discord and direct communication, which made tracking engagement, verifying contributions, and scaling participation difficult. As a result, visibility and reward distribution were inconsistent.

These challenges limited the program’s transparency, prompting IOTA to rebuild it on GiveRep. “Anyone can join, no gatekeeping, no bottlenecks,” the report reads.

The launch is also the beginning of the program’s first global campaign, running until November 17, titled “Global Trade Powered by IOTA.” The campaign is supposed to highlight how IOTA and Trade Worldwide Information Network (TWIN) are working together to enhance global trade and supply chains through blockchain.

As we featured in a news piece, TWIN is built on the IOTA distributed ledger and data-sharing stack. The network allows real-time, verifiable trade data exchange across organizations, countries, and industries.

It integrates advanced features such as self-sovereign identity, data spaces, digital product passports, and the tokenization of trade documents to ensure compliance and auditability.

This framework directly addresses challenges in global commerce, as highlighted in IOTA’s initiatives like re-inventing trade finance, which aims to close the $2.5 trillion trade finance gap through tokenization, and Trusted Digital Identities, which introduces secure, verifiable identities to modernize and streamline international trade operations.

IOTA’s Influence on Tokenization

The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) recently published a report highlighting developments such as fractional ownership in real estate, the growing role of stablecoins, and pioneering concepts like the Tokenized Micro Flat Tax (TMFT).

Notably, IOTA Foundation members Giannis Rousopoulos and Tom Jansson are credited as co-authors. As reported by CNF, this shows IOTA’s participation in advancing the global conversation.

Further emphasizing its growth, the IOTA Foundation has also been acknowledged by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for its leadership in digital trade innovation.

In the OECD’s September report, “The Digitalization of Trade Documents and Processes,” IOTA was recognized as a key private-sector contributor driving the transition toward paperless, automated trade. Central to this progress is Trade Logistics Information Pipeline (TLIP), an infrastructure built on IOTA’s DLT that connects all participants in global trade.

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

The post China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise China’s internet regulator has ordered the country’s biggest technology firms, including Alibaba and ByteDance, to stop purchasing Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D GPUs. According to the Financial Times, the move shuts down the last major channel for mass supplies of American chips to the Chinese market. Why Beijing Halted Nvidia Purchases Chinese companies had planned to buy tens of thousands of RTX Pro 6000D accelerators and had already begun testing them in servers. But regulators intervened, halting the purchases and signaling stricter controls than earlier measures placed on Nvidia’s H20 chip. Image: Nvidia An audit compared Huawei and Cambricon processors, along with chips developed by Alibaba and Baidu, against Nvidia’s export-approved products. Regulators concluded that Chinese chips had reached performance levels comparable to the restricted U.S. models. This assessment pushed authorities to advise firms to rely more heavily on domestic processors, further tightening Nvidia’s already limited position in China. China’s Drive Toward Tech Independence The decision highlights Beijing’s focus on import substitution — developing self-sufficient chip production to reduce reliance on U.S. supplies. “The signal is now clear: all attention is focused on building a domestic ecosystem,” said a representative of a leading Chinese tech company. Nvidia had unveiled the RTX Pro 6000D in July 2025 during CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to Beijing, in an attempt to keep a foothold in China after Washington restricted exports of its most advanced chips. But momentum is shifting. Industry sources told the Financial Times that Chinese manufacturers plan to triple AI chip production next year to meet growing demand. They believe “domestic supply will now be sufficient without Nvidia.” What It Means for the Future With Huawei, Cambricon, Alibaba, and Baidu stepping up, China is positioning itself for long-term technological independence. Nvidia, meanwhile, faces…
