Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, the recently released Bruce Springsteen biopic, might not have turned out to be the box office smash that some hoped it might be — it pulled in less than $9 million in its first weekend in America — but the film’s wide release around the world is helping the legendary rocker on the charts. The movie centers on the making of Springsteen’s album Nebraska, one of the more controversial projects in his discography at the time it dropped. Naturally, that set has bounced back onto charts everywhere after being thrust into the spotlight, and it’s joined by a new take on the classic titled Nebraska ’82.
In the United Kingdom, the two albums are counted separately, and Springsteen sees the original soar and even debut on multiple tallies it had never appeared on before, while Nebraska ’82 becomes yet another chart-topper for the superstar.
