Bettmann Archive

In the more than quarter-century since Frank Sinatra passed away, the lore surrounding him — his voice, his work as an actor, and his general star quality — has only grown. Public interest in the crooner never seems to fade, and he is often one of the only voices who got his start before the current iteration of the Billboard charts to regularly appear on them.

Typically, his work is relegated to various jazz rankings, even though most of his albums are classified under the traditional pop label. Pentatonix Recruits Frank Sinatra for “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm”

The combination of Sinatra and Pentatonix proves to be a powerful one, especially for radio programmers. The collaborative version of “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” debuts on the Adult Contemporary chart, opening at No. 26.

The two acts score the only new arrival on the listing this week. Another two cuts — “Happened to Me” by Russell Dickerson and Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance” — return to the roster, coming in at Nos. 29 and 30, but otherwise it is another quiet period on the airplay ranking.

Frank Sinatra Earns a Milestone Radio Smash

As “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” debuts, Sinatra posthumously reaches an impressive milestone. The superstar has now racked up 50 career placements on the pop radio tally. Of that group, 20 tunes have climbed into the top 10, and half a dozen have spent at least one frame at No. 1, though Sinatra has not claimed a champion since the 1960s.

How Long Since Frank Sinatra Last Scored a New Radio Hit?

It has been just over four decades since Sinatra last earned a new hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, one of Billboard’s three pop radio rankings. The company notes that his most recent debut on the radio tally (before this week) was back in September 1984. That month, “L.A. Is My Lady” arrived, and it eventually lifted to No. 35 — a position that no longer exists, as the chart only features 30 rungs today.

Pentatonix has not waited nearly as long as Sinatra for another win as the largely a cappella troupe earned a holiday hit less than a year ago. “Meet Me Next Christmas” debuted on the chart at the end of last November and climbed to No. 21 before turning around just two frames later.

“I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” Remains a Christmas Staple

“I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” has become a holiday classic since it was published in 1937, written by powerhouse composer Irving Berlin. Sinatra is one of many artists to put his own spin on the tune, and his version remains among the most famous.

His take first appeared on the singer’s 1961 album Ring-a-Ding-Ding!, his twentieth full-length. Pentatonix borrowed his vocals — with permission from the Sinatra estate — and included the unlikely pairing on Christmas in the City, which was released in late October and marked one of the earliest holiday projects of 2025.

The album also features reworkings of classics such as “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Silver Bells.” Sinatra’s turn is one of only two collaborations on the set, as JoJo joins the Grammy-winning outfit on “Snowing in Paris.”

Frank Sinatra’s Albums Return to the Billboard Charts

As Sinatra charts a surprising radio hit, he sees multiple albums return to various Billboard charts. Ultimate Christmas, which has become suddenly popular again now that the holiday is nearing, breaks back onto the Vinyl Albums and Top Album Sales lists, as well as the Billboard 200, and it will almost certainly climb in the coming weeks.

Both Christmas Songs by Sinatra and Nothing but the Best reappear on jazz-focused rosters at the same time. Nothing but the Best reenters the Traditional Jazz Albums list at No. 15, while Christmas Songs by Sinatra is present on the all-encompassing Jazz Albums chart, where it makes a home at No. 21 this time around.

Wormhole has announced a significant upgrade to its native token, unveiling the W Token 2.0. This upgrade introduces new tokenomics including the establishment of a Wormhole Reserve, a 4% base yield, and an optimized unlock schedule, marking a pivotal development in the ecosystem, according to Wormhole. The W Token Evolution Launched in October 2020, Wormhole’s W token has been central to the platform’s mission of creating a connected internet economy. The latest upgrade aims to enhance the token’s utility across more than 40 blockchains. With a capped supply of 10 billion, the W token supports governance, staking, and ecosystem growth, aligning incentives for network security and development. Introducing the Wormhole Reserve The Wormhole Reserve will accumulate value from both onchain and offchain activities, supporting the ecosystem’s expansion. As Wormhole adoption grows, the token will capture value through network expansions and ecosystem applications, ensuring that growth is directly reflected in the token’s value. 4% Base Yield and Governance Rewards Wormhole 2.0 introduces a 4% base yield for W holders who actively participate in governance. The yield, derived from existing token supplies and protocol revenues, is designed to incentivize active participation without inflating the token supply.
