Dos miembros de la Guardia Nacional fueron atacados a tiros este miércoles en Washington, cerca de la Casa Blanca, y están gravemente heridos, un hecho descrito por el gobierno como una "situación trágica".

"Les pido que recen conmigo por los guardias nacionales baleados hace instantes en Washington", escribió la secretaria de Seguridad Interior, Kristi Noem.

La portavoz del gobierno, Karoline Leavitt, señaló de su lado que "la Casa Blanca ha sido informada de esta situación trágica y el presidente (Donald Trump) se mantiene al tanto".

El mandatario indicó poco después que los dos militares se encuentran en estado crítico.

Un sospechoso fue arrestado, informó la policía de la capital estadounidense, mientras helicópteros sobrevolaban la zona.

"El animal que disparó a los dos guardias nacionales, ambos gravemente heridos y ahora en dos hospitales diferentes, también tiene heridas graves, pero más allá de eso pagará un muy alto precio", escribió Trump en su red Truth Social.

Periodistas de la AFP vieron, a dos calles de la Casa Blanca, a una persona vestida de uniforme militar siendo evacuada en una camilla.

Tres personas víctima de disparos de arma de fuego fueron atendidas por los servicios de emergencia, informaron a la AFP los servicios de rescate de la ciudad.

"Escuchamos disparos. Estábamos esperando en el semáforo en rojo y hubo varios disparos", relató a la AFP Angela Perry, una agente de seguridad de 42 años que estaba en su coche con sus dos hijos.

"Se podía ver a miembros de la Guardia Nacional corriendo hacia el metro, armas en mano", agregó Perry.

La zona fue cerrada y decenas de vehículos de policía y otras fuerzas de seguridad locales y nacionales fueron enviados al lugar.

Militares de la Guardia Nacional están desplegados, a petición del presidente Trump, desde agosto en la capital estadounidense.

Había 2,175 militares desplegados a mediados de noviembre, según recientes estadísticas militares.

El gobierno del distrito acusa al Ejecutivo federal de exceder sus poderes.

Desde junio, el presidente republicano ha enviado a la Guardia Nacional sucesivamente a Los Ángeles (oeste), Washington y Memphis (sur), en contra de la opinión de las autoridades locales demócratas.

Alega que estos despliegues son necesarios para combatir la delincuencia y apoyar al ICE, el organismo federal que es punta de lanza de la política antiinmigración de Trump.

The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has.
